Idk if you’ve ever seen doctor who, but imagine the scene where Donna and the doctor meet again but with Axel and Roxas
Firstly, I love Doctor Who dearly and am here for all of your Who headcanons. Secondly, the one where they spot each other through the windows and start making faces and elaborate hand motions to each other? Because yes.
Imagine if during the epic battle scene in KH3, Axel and Saix are fighting and Axel gets thrown across the battle field, flat on his back, and as he sits up, through a hole blasted in the rock face, he sees a flash of spiky blond hair, still familiar after all this time. He sits up and rubs the back of his head, thinking he must have hit it harder than he thought, but no, his eyes focus and it’s Roxas standing there mouth open, staring at him through the window, waving furiously like his life depends on it.
Roxas points to himself. ‘IT’S ME!’
Axel nods, gestures, ‘I CAN SEE THAT!’
‘I CAME BACK!’ Roxas beams.
Axel beams back, returns the wave, gestures to Roxas and mouths, ‘HOW ARE YOU ALIVE? HOW ARE YOU HERE?’
Roxas gives an exaggerated shrug and then gestures skyward and shrugs again.
Axel’s brows lift, ‘YOU FELL FROM THE SKY?’
Roxas cups his ear, crosses a finger over his heart, gestures to Axel, mouths, ‘I HEARD YOU. I MISSED YOU.’
Axel pats his heart back, shapes his hands into a heart, points. ‘I LOVE YOU.’
‘I LOVE YOU TOO.’ Roxas blows Axel a kiss and Axel pantomimes catching it. The pair of them grin idiotically at each other for a moment and then an explosion sounds in the distance.
Axel pulls both arms toward himself, pantomimes running. Roxas nods sharply, smiles once more and then disappears from view.
Axel turns to find Saix staring at him once more, an eyebrow cocked, weapon poised to strike. “Are you two about done?”
