Chapter 1 of my new Marcus Acacius x Reader fic is out, which you can find here!

Here's a snippet of what the story is about:

At last, her gaze lifted to his, luminous with joy. She gave his hand a tender squeeze, cheeks flushed as they wove through the crowd, a tide of smiling faces and warm congratulations washing over them. It all felt untethered from time, as if they were walking through a dream too delicate to hold.

And then, as they broke free of the crowd, Y/N tugged gently at the front of his tunic and drew him into her arms, pressing herself against him in a sudden embrace that banished all illusion.

“I can scarcely believe you’re real,” she whispered, her breath brushing the curve of his neck like a prayer.

Marcus closed his eyes, his hands rising to her braids with instinctive reverence, fingers tracing the woven strands as if committing them to memory. He leaned into her, his voice low and steady.

“I am here, my heart. Flesh and bone, and yours.”

Okay so I finally got to watch 5 and 6 and my opinion, fantastic for multiple reasons. Mostly because it felt like we got back to what we love about this show but also giving us some new vibes. Ava and Marcus BROTPing it up. THE FUCKING POOL SCENE!!! (I shall NEVER be over). Oh, the mall scene where Deb is horrified that Ava was lost for 9 hours but at the same time is all "You should write it" it's like 🥺 Deb knows Ava is good!. The sense of family within that lil 4sum, not to mention Deb calling Kiki to come join them!. Deborah in jeans!. Deborah getting her freak on!! (Fuck me) I also really loved Deb realising she doesn't have to be all "woe is me" and the fucking montage! Ohmygods! Totally felt like watching young Deb from the tapes that Ava watches in season 1 that had her laughing and seeing how good Deborah is, and also Deb and Ava working together and making each other laugh, they were having fun again!. It was like, what's the word I'm looking for? Perfect.

I know there's still things to be addressed but, I am going to enjoy these 2 eps for what they are and hope for the best for the last 2.

“Thanks for walking me back,” she says, her voice soft, warm with gratitude. “I really appreciate it.”

Javier nods, the weight of the moment pressing against his chest. He knows, with an aching certainty, that these stolen moments with her are all he’s allowed. All he deserves. “Anytime, Y/N. Anytime.”

She lingers for a second longer, her eyes meeting his one last time, as if there’s something else she wants to say, something unsaid that floats between them like a delicate thread. But the words don’t come. The door clicks softly as she steps inside, the finality of it sharp in its silence.

Javier stands there, a breath caught in his lungs, the hollow space where she stood still buzzing around him. He turns, his footsteps heavy in the hallway, the weight of his thoughts pressing in. He’s already lost, he knows it. But for reasons he can’t fully grasp, it doesn’t feel like the tragedy it should. Instead, there’s an unexpected peace in it, a quiet understanding that, perhaps, losing her is the only thing left he can allow himself to do.

for the first time in years, I'm actually thinking about deleting tiktok and instagram from my phone. my mental health has been on a downward spiral since the end of the summer and a lot of it has to do with my self image and social media. I will definitely keep tumblr as it's the only app giving me joy, but I'm definitely deleting instagram and tiktok. anyone who has deleted their socials before, how was your mental health before and after?
