odd name? it’s what she is—what she’s found herself being, anyway
ipod addict (terminal) old cartoons freezing cold rooms
loner reserved, grounded friendly & sweet
old movie enthusiast muffins great ass (or so she’s been told)
eldest daughter syndrome even though she’s alone in that big empty house—too chill with blood, too level-headed, too thoughtful
teeth-grittingly normal until you realize she’s not
when Rafe Cameron shows up on her doorstep, head hanging and with nowhere else to go, she spends months forced to confront things about him and about herself. in charge of her house. in charge of herself. and now seemingly in charge of Rafe Cameron
it’s a lot of responsibility to handle, and she does it with near-eerie calm
XTRA XTRA (read all about her!!)
her big old creaky house didn’t use to be empty, it used to be full of animals and siblings, and she’s got the skills and demeanor to prove it
good with first aid—cleaning scrapes, wrapping cuts. she knows her cold medicines and has taken several CPR classes
ties a mean knot
she works mostly odd jobs to get by. clearing brush from yards, pet-sitting, cleaning out garages, those sorts of random things. 25ish bucks a pop, but when she does enough of them it’s plenty for groceries and bills
needs her cozy sleep ambiance (cold sheets, warm blanket, cartoons blaring on the TV, AC blowing subzero air) every night
owns too many pairs of jeans because they’re “sturdy” but really it’s cause when she finds something she’s comfy with she really sticks with it
a great baker, though not in the sweet cookies-and-cake way, rather in the bread-and-muffins way
she’s a problem solver by nature—it’s automatic
focuses on her own two feet in front of her—on getting through each day successfully and doing what she needs to do and onto the next. never impulsive, always level-headed and measured
you can imagine how mutt!Rafe throws a wrench into her perfect routines
