A happy Memorial Day Weekend to you all. Leather up and smell the roses. The leather ones. Less bugs and pollen that way.

I made another thing!

It needs work - of course - but I'm trying to be kinder to myself. It's a new skill I'm learning, after all, and I haven't learnt the subtleties yet.

But I'm already having thoughts of a leather underbust corset, with roses covering the hips. It might need to be an art piece, though, or something removable.

I am procrastinating, so of course I decide to try out some Kangaroo Leather for rose making.

Not bad. This leather was thicker than the previous leathers I've used, so I was worried that it wouldn't hold its shape, but it seems to curl nicely.
