What would be a good start to get into kavat breeding? I’m interested in it but have no idea where to start

The best place to start, IMO, would be the breeder’s Discord! It’s linked at the bottom of the most recent price guide, here. The price guide includes a link to the basics, which is good if you have NO prior knowledge, but as far as I know, it hasn’t been updated since vascas were added, which shook up the community a lot with hybrids.
A lot of the written guides are out of date, and were going to be updated (prices have shifted a bit, for example), but with DE announcing a few pet reworks for March, the community decided to wait a bit, so that they wouldn’t need to be rewritten again come the updates. So, the Discord is probably the best! There are lots of resources linked there, and tons of super helpful people.
