I am a PASSIONATE commenter on fanfiction, but sometimes it slows down my reading because I don't want to read if I don't have the mental energy to leave the long comments I want to

Still, as an author, I know even a short note can mean the world.

So, I put together a little guide with different “levels” of comments, so it’s easier to leave something without overthinking!

I have a whole animatic planned on these two 🥰 Simon deserves salvation and Grace deserves companionship, they were basically in the same move/universe

So I'm very fixated on the clips from the promos that we haven't seen yet and I realized I haven't seen anyone show screenshots from Milo's short so I figured I'd grab a few from the yt video!

Going right in with the spookiness, Ssyelle is getting got by something (please don't hurt my girl I'll cry)

I also wanted to point out that she is in winter gear in this scene! Ik there's a screenshot somewhere of her and Key in winter jackets looking traumatized at each other so I thought it's worth pointing out that there's actually more!

Later in the short we see Milo and Key being cute (Key in a winter jacket alert he looks so cozy) and Milo at practice (based on the empty stands) on a frozen over version of the knights field, so lots of winter to go around!

Side note: if anyone remembers the name of the knights field and for that matter all the fields you would be my hero if you told me

The last new (I think) and interesting thing I spotted was immediately after the clip of Ssyelle getting jumped and it's Odward looking terrified! Perhaps he also gets jumped? Or otherwise snuck up on?

I absolutely recommend watching this (and all the others too) since I'm not in the habit of clipping things and all of these are cool shots that aren't done justice by my screenshots, and you might notice a detail I missed! Tell me if you do I'd love to hear about it!!!!

I’m officially losing my mind over these AO3 bots.

I spend HOURS writing. HOURS editing. HOURS fighting my own brain just to post a chapter.

And what do I get in my inbox?

Not feedback.

Not comments.

Not even a normal human reaction.

And what’s worst, they began crawling into Tumblr too.

You know what?

I hope your fake accounts EXPLODE.

I hope every bot account spontaneously combusts into digital dust.

I’m BEGGING AO3 to do something. Anything. A CAPTCHA. A salt circle. An exorcism. A sword in the stone situation where only actual humans can comment.

Because right now my notifications look like:

• 1 real reader

• 1 encouraging friend

• and 10 spambots named “user192873541” trying to lure me into malware hell

I’m TIRED.

I’m a professional writer IRL.

I’m not writing fanfiction so I can get lovebombed by AI phantoms.
