I’m a bit data obsessed, and after taking a look at who lives in my OTPs “fandom neighborhood”, I had to take a look at my second favorite, Romione. Here are the ships that appear most often in Romione works, the ships where Romione shows up most strongly, and a few patterns I found interesting.

This is just co-tagging data, so it can’t tell us which ship is primary, but it can show us the kinds of stories and fandom spaces Romione lives in.

What ships should I look at next?

I love data, and I love Drinny, so naturally I started digging through the tags to see what kinds of ships tend to share space with them.

That turned into a whole little map of Drinny’s fandom neighborhood: the ships that appear most often in Drinny works, the ships where Drinny shows up most strongly, and a few patterns I found especially interesting.

This is just co-tagging data, so it can’t tell us which ship is the primary one, but it can show us the kinds of stories and fandom spaces Drinny often lives in.

When Ron found a woman in her burning flat during his sweep, he immediately threw her over his shoulder. 

“No! Please! My cat!” She yelled, beating her fists against him.

“Merow?” The cat appeared at her distress and attacked, sinking his claws into Ron’s jacket.

Seeing his chance, Ron ran back outside. He laid Hermione on the ground, peeled the cat off by its scruff, threw off his headgear, and collapsed next to her. 

Hermione covered Ron’s face with kisses. “Thank you! You saved him! Crookshanks, say thank you!”

Ron yelped as the menace dug his claws into Ron’s cheek.

“Missed again, Krum!” Ron snagged the quaffle. “My sister can shoot better than you!”

“Ginny is professional chaser! Quaffle is not my job!”

“It is today!” Ron retorted, tossing it back into play.

Viktor flew off to gain possession again. 

As soon as Angelina passed it back, he took off. Ron realized too late that Viktor intended to deliver himself and the quaffle through the hoop. They collided, landing tangled on the Burrow’s pitch. Victoire rushed over. “Uncle Ron, Uncle Viktor, you guys okay?”

Viktor planted a kiss on his husband's mouth and stood.

“Da, little one. Is ten points.”

Ron and Harry had just arrived at the seedy nightclub when they spotted their target.

“You said he wouldn’t be here for another hour!” Ron hissed.

“Looks like nobody told him that!” 

Harry looked around frantically, but they were sitting ducks.

Suddenly, Harry had an idea. He fell back into the seat behind him, pulling Ron down on his lap, and kissed him. Ron startled, then threaded his fingers through Harry’s hair and deepened the kiss while rutting against him.

After several minutes, they broke apart, their target long gone. 

“I think,” Ron panted, “that’s my new favorite surveillance technique.”

Drabble Dabble June hosted by @siobhanhazel and @no-arc! Ron beamed down at the squalling little being that the healer had placed in his arms who had just been forced from her cozy womb.

She didn’t have much hair, not enough to be able to tell if she had inherited her mother's curls, but the hair the little banshee had was definitely tinted red. 

Just then, Harry appeared in the doorway. 

“I took the first portkey I could, I told Robards it was too close to go and— Merlin. It’s her”

Harry leaned down and kissed Hermione, and then moved to Ron, kissing him as well. 

“Welcome, our Rose Lily.”

“Hermione… Sweetheart…” Ron whispered. “Are you asleep?”

“Mmm…” Hermione mumbled, barely stirring as she turned her body to face away from the intrusion.

Ron inhaled deeply. This is what she had asked him for, and although he asked if she was sure several times before they went to bed, he would be lying if he said he wasn’t incredibly turned on. 

He trailed his hand down her bare arm, watching as her chest rose and fell. 

Out like a light. 

Ron reached over carefully, dipping his fingers in a small jar, coating his fingers in the oil Hermione had prepared. 

He shivered in anticipation as he warmed it between his fingers. Then, slowly, he pressed his fingers between his wife’s bare legs, lubricating and gently stretching her. A breathy moan escaped from her lips, but she didn’t wake.

Ron reached down and slicked his painfully stiff erection before easing his hips over, lining himself up, and thrusting inside of her, quickly setting a firm rhythm. 

Hermione arched her back into him as she woke exactly as she had asked him to.

“Mmm… Ron… yes…”

“It’s after midnight.” Ron panted in her ear as he fucked her. “Happy birthday, Sweetheart.”

I am a PASSIONATE commenter on fanfiction, but sometimes it slows down my reading because I don't want to read if I don't have the mental energy to leave the long comments I want to

Still, as an author, I know even a short note can mean the world.

So, I put together a little guide with different “levels” of comments, so it’s easier to leave something without overthinking!
