if i didn’t know this was you this would sound exactly ripped from an mra’s manifesto. they are a parody of themselves
mra's are so ridiculous it's actually amazing. it's so hard to make that thing actually sound like a satire because there are actual people who say some of that stuff

so what’s the text that the hermeneutics essay is interpreting??
basically its interpreting the speculation and interpretation that goes on in psychology as an act of violence towards oppressed individuals because speculation creates "knowledge" through results and biased interpretations of data, and that knowledge is then seen as fact, which can be harmful.
or at least, that's what i'm getting out of it
im interpreting a text about interpreting interpretations
lecapunk replied to your post: what the fuck
was the writer being paid by the word because I don’t know shit about hermeneutics but wth

I think it all depends on social context—they could be considered people of color in one part of the world and white in another. (Like how Irish people used to be considered nonwhite in the US.) I don’t think there’s a definitive answer.
yeah i feel like it's very subjective??

i’m like half italian and idk idk i don’t think most americans with italian ancestry wouldn’t consider themselves white? like i don’t know about full blooded italian people and immigrants but i’m pretty damn white.
yeah i was thinking about that actually like italian americans vs. native italians might differ

They don’t tend to be pale, and they each have a very distinct culture of their own
that's a good point
