The sound had been following Neku for awhile, the soft tapping of footsteps trailing along behind him as he made his way from Dogenzaka and across the scramble. At first he thought it was just someone in the crowd, going the same direction as him. But when the noise stopped just as Neku halted in front of Hachiko's statue, it was obvious he was being followed.
