@lechroniques: IF I WANTED YOU DEAD, YOU WOULDN'T BE TALKING.
actually, at this particular moment, willow seems to be having trouble finding her voice. probably the fear. she swallows hard. opens her mouth. swallows again, and says, her voice a little higher than normal: "right. um. that's definitely a good point that you're making. and i appreciate it, don't get me wrong, you know, the not-killing and all. i'm very appreciative. i wouldn't want to be dead. i mean, not that you're not making it work! because you are. very cool, glamorous and you know, rockstar." she makes a gesture with her hands that is supposed to get across his general cool, unflappable vibe. it ends up looking more like jazz hands or fireworks than anything. "but i think i would probably just look awkward in leather pants, just speaking for myself, personally." somehow, she manages to stop talking, her cheeks flushed. can he tell that i'm flushed? is that going to make him want to eat me more?
willow clears her throat. "um. if you're looking for buffy, she's --" and then cuts herself off, because willow is a loyal friend. even if that's going to be her cause of death and probably what they write on her tombstone. "i'm not telling you where she is! you're a vampire."
