Lecidella wulfenii
Moss lecidella
This crustose lichen has a granular-papilate, warty thallus which grows on bryophytes and plant debris. It is pale gray, brown, or green in color, and has black apothecia with plane discs and thin margins. It has a chlorococcoid, green algal photobiont. L. wulfenii can be found in temperate and arctic-alpine regions of Asia, Europe, and North America.

Lecidella stigmatea
This crustose lichen has a thallus resembling cracked-clay or ceramic tiles, white-gray, brown-gray or green-gray in color. It produces black apothecia with a flat or slightly bulging disc and thin margin. It can be found in growing on rock in temperate regions of Australasia, Europe, North America and South America.
