hiiii super late weekly oc recaps!!!!!! in my defense i got busy with artfight (which was amazing this year btw!!!! i had so much fun!!!!! 😭)

well!! for july i was drawing ocs from various stories from a world with monsters and various fantasy races! we also hit the 200th day of the year on july 19th!!!! so i drew aylin to celebrate <3

now we're in august so i'm drawing angels all month!!! cause 'angel august' sounds like a fun drawing challenge for the month lol and also god i miss my ledian chronicles ocs so!!!! here we are!!!!!!

okay yay angel august recap!!!!!!!!! i am so glad i'm no longer drawing characters with wings this month LMFAOOO

so every one of these guys is from my story Ledian Chronicles, which has a bunch of angel and merfolk ocs :-3 i tried to get a nice balance of characters i don't give enough attention to and my favorites lol it's fun to see all these guys together tho!!! like, these r my feathery idiots!!! i love them!!!!!!!

okay i have no idea how i’m gonna post my other two valentine’s day posts but i Do Know i’m posting this one by itself bc i’m putting it under a readmore and giving extra context to it <3

so um yay read on if you’d like some artemas/dirk action (it may or may not be canon lmfao)

so for a background here, artemas gets kinda blackmailed by oliver and wrapped up in his shenanigans for a while, and during that time gets pretty close to oliver’s witches. oliver seems to even push dirk onto artemas which artemas finds incredibly weird (it almost feels like oliver does it for his own enjoyment, bc of course he does), but over time and as he slowly gets dirk to open up, he really starts to care for him. he thinks some day he’ll save dirk from this fucked up cult and fucked up brainwashing that’s going on. but for now, since he can’t even get himself out, artemas offers dirk a place where he can finally relax and be at ease. they both keep each other sane in oliver’s little hell.

this comic is about a moment where dirk finally relaxes around artemas. most of the time, dirk is using magic to keep his body aflame, mostly because oliver tells him to. as a witch, using magic temporarily turns his eyes red. so, since he’s constantly using magic, artemas has never seen his real eye color (sure he can ask about it, but seeing something for yourself is even better right). it’s probably even difficult for dirk to stop using the magic voluntarily, but he manages, and it’s a special moment for both of them <3

(i also don’t know whether their relationship is romantic or physical or what have you - but they’ve probably kissed before this, and artemas burned his fucking mouth on dirk’s lmfao)

(also don’t ask what dirk’s real eye color is, i refuse to figure it out for myself right now <3 maybe some day!)

random world building thought ughhh the desire to add One more element to ledian chronicles magic to make the total number of different Kinds of magic 12 (bc 4 is a reoccurring number in the story) BUT ALSO the desire to add TWO more elements and make the total number of Elemental magic 12. bc technically Ledian magic isn’t… an element……. it’s more like the magic of creation i guess, named after the world’s goddess, Leda. so rn we have 11 kinds of magic, but only 10 are elemental and can actually be learned by normal witches?? (those who can learn ledian magic are called ledian witches and they’re special)

rn the 10 elements are fire, water, ground, flora, air, ice, electricity, metal, light, and dark

uuhhhghhgs if i added two more elements what would they even Be….. or do i just suck it up and keep it at 10 elements +1 if u squint akdshfklsdfnkl
