Whatever was in the water over at the Lawrence Welk studios in the '70s made for some gripping television. I mean, sure, you're familiar with Gail Farrell and Dick Dale singing "One Toke over the Line." But dancing skeletons tappin' and shufflin' to the spiritual "Dem Bones"?
The tune was written by brothers James Weldon Johnson and J. Rosamond Johnson, another of whose collaborations, "Lift Every Voice and Sing," would become known as the "Black national anthem."
"Dem Bones," also known as "Dry Bones," is based on a quote from Ezekiel 37: The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. (KJV).
Here's a less-bizarre reading of it from the Delta Rhythm Boys:

👏🏾 Super Bowl 59 brought the culture to the forefront!
Kendrick took us to class, dropping gems that hit hard. Serena served up a message without saying a word, and Ledisi? She gave us a performance that will be talked about for ages! This wasn’t just a game; it was a celebration of Black excellence! 🖤✨
