AO3 will be down for about 15 hours starting at 08:00 UTC on January 21 (what time is that for me?) while we make some improvements to searching bookmarks and series, including:

adding the ability to search, filter, and sort bookmarks by word count

making sure bookmark search results are correct when you use tags containing letters and numbers

preventing series blurbs from listing tags that were only used on draft works

preventing series blurbs from listing tags used on restricted works for guests

updating series bookmark search so it only searches the tags on works you can access

As a robot girl and a mechanic, its important to get someone else to do your maintenance. Not Just because you need to let others pamper you for a change, though that part is true. But because you need someone to reset and reinstall those safely limitors.

I know you've been disabling them. Do I even need to check your logs? Tally up the time they read "heat override". You have so many sensors turned off or disabled. These ones in particukar are for your safety, you realize that right? The exterior armor is barely scratched, yet your internals are cooked and worn to shreds.

Trust me, I get it. Theirs lots to do and plenty to get done. But you're overvaluing your purpose, and undervalueing your chassis.

So I said no more weekly updates. I also said I was working on maintenance. I guess I sort of lied because I couldn’t help but post these. This is also as a thank you to over 5,000 followers here (just mind blowing 🤯).

Last night I got up to 240.6 pounds which is a new high weight in the evenings. The next morning I was down to 237.4, which is literally 0.2 pounds higher than last week’s final weigh in.

So maintenance is going well…Seriously considering I’ve been gaining many pounds a week, this is maintenance for me 😂

I do feel better and can move a bit better overall since I didn’t eat to the point of being painfully full. I’m still contemplating my goals for the year but right now I am enjoying being this size and trying to be more active.

i need your input.

the wizard book by that awful woman was submitted and i have put it in the queue. But i wanted to get your feedback on how to handle this the best way.

In general im against excluding books bc how would i decide which ones are okay and which ones arent? There are probably many authors out there who are horrible people or books that are problematic which i dont know about

But i also feel like this is a special case bc she is actively using her influence and money to endanger trans peoples rights and lives. So i do not want to support or promote her work.

So the options i see are

Dont post the book at all

Post it like any other book

Post it but dont tag title and author (i could also disable reblogs?)

Something else?

What do you think? Please let me know so i can do this the way the majority prefers
