Okay so I shall share some tiny headcanons about Daichi as a warm up of sorts since I'm nervous—
■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■
Sawamura Daichi, everybody :D
• He's usually the one doing the tickling, but he does occasionally become the victim.
• Because he has very few tickle spots (along with his tough no-nonsense personality), people often assume that he is not ticklish at all.
• Then Suga thought it would be a good idea to tickle him in front of the entire team simply because he thought he looked grumpy and needed cheering up (he actually did but what Suga doesn't know won't hurt him).
• Most of the team is too scared to solo tickle him for fear of retaliation. Suga, the brave, stupid soul, and Kiyoko, not ticklish at all, is the only exception.
• His tickle spots are his stomach, thighs and his ribs. Although I do enjoy the headcanon that he is also ticklish in his underarms from time to time.
• A quick poke to his stomach will make him flinch amd squeak, and scribbling will get you some chuckles but if you want him to start losing his mind you need to really put your hands on him and knead that muscle like it is bread dough.
• Suga loves to give him raspberries. When he's feeling brave enough, Asahi will also help hold him down and rub his beard on his stomach and ribs.
• Yeah let's just say Daichi goes absolutely nuts.
• His thighs are probably the worst tickle spot that he has. He can not take any kind of touch there, even his own. Digging fingers into the skin will make him scream for mercy for sure. The tiniest little scribbles will have him cackling like a witch.
• Unfortunately that is all I have for today but if you like them I shall provide more!!!!!
Sincerely, Blue-san 💙
uwaaaaahh blue-syaaaan thank you for sharing these, these are so super duper kyuuuuuute !!! ☆*:. o(≧▽≦)o .:*☆ kyaaah thinking about daichi-kun feeling ticklish like this has me all giddy. i enjoy the idea of suga-chan being fearless and perhaps a bit naive and attacking daichi-kun with no regard to his own safety, haha. and wahh daichi-kun would surely have such ticklish thighs, what i would not give to be able to squeeze the hell out of them and really drive him mad !!!
thank you again for sharing these blue-san, these really made my day (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾♡
A/N: Hi!! I'm still alive... after more than a month of inactivity... 😓 Sorry for not posting my content for a while, after I was done with my entry test and tasted a bit of freedom, I realized how burnt-out I truly was. I took a break from literally everything and hung out with my friends and family since I spent the whole summer studying for a thing or another 😅 Anyway, back to the important stuff, this fic was a request... that I took way too long to write... again... (PLEASE FORGIVE MEEE) but I found it really interesting and I related a lot to the scenario, which is why it came out a bit more personal than I wanted. But at the same time I liked it the way it was so I decided to post it like this. Spero vi piaccia 💚🤍❤️ (I hope you enjoy it) Suggestions and support are always appreciated ^_^
DISCLAIMER: This is a tickle fic, if it's not to your taste I don't suggest you read it
"That's it for today, guys" Ukai's loud voice echoed throughout the gym "Make sure to stretch properly, clean up, and then go home and get some rest!" He said before leaving, knowing he had to prepare some meat buns. Everything went as usual, but a little detail made that day different. It was the third-years' last training.
Daichi almost couldn't believe it was really happening. Three years had already passed and he was about to leave his volleyball team. And as chaotic as said team was, he didn't like the idea at all. He just felt like it wasn't the right time.
Sure, Ennoshita was more than ready to become captain, but were Tanaka and Noya ready to become less... hurricane-like? Was Yamaguchi going to find his self-confidence? What about Tsukki? Would he find it in himself to open up to the others? To not talk about Hinata and Kageyama's constant bickering...
There was still so much he could help everyone with, even if he was just supporting them or giving a fatherly advice. But he had to admit to himself that they were going to manage without him, his team was full of capable and motivated guys, they were more than capable of overcoming any kind of hardship. He also had to admit to himself that the one who wasn't ready to that kind of change was him.
"...so I was thinking I could go to university and work somewhere to help my family par fo- hello? Earth to Daichi? Are you even listening?" Suga's scoff brought the (soon-to-be ex) Karasuno captain back to Earth. "Sorry Suga, I spaced out for a second..." He let out an embarrassed chuckle.
The grey-haired guy looked at his teammate with genuine concern in his eyes. "Are you okay? Is there something wrong?" He asked worried.
Daichi glanced for a second at the others, who had started cleaning already, and then told his friend about his worries about that being his last training, having to leave the team, missing the team, missing volleyball in general...
"DAICHIIIII!!!" His train of thoughts got abruptly interrupted by Suga's bonk, which was objectively kind of deserved. It was Mr. Refreshing's duty to help anyone who was feeling down, one way or another, and the whole team knew that.
However, there was still a nostalgic glint in the captain's gaze, and that couldn't be allowed. Sad goodbyes were not accepted at Karasuno Volleyball Team. The gray-haired guy looked around himself for a second. Narita and Kinoshita had already left with Ennoshita because they still had some exams to study for. Noya and Tanaka had to study as well... but they insisted on helping with the cleanup before going. Yachi and Kyoko were gone as well; they wanted to spend some time together since they were going to say goodbye, too.
"Ahem! Guys, gather here for a second." The vice-captain said, waiting for everyone to come. "As you know, this is our last day here." His first sentence was enough to make everyone groan and whine, but he was able to hush them all. "BUT! We don't want it to be a sad goodbye, we want to enjoy this journey until the last second... or at least that's what we agreed upon. However someone is feeling sulky right now. Does anyone have a suggestion to fix this little problem?"
Making sure Daichi wouldn't see him, he wiggled his finger to give his own suggestion to the team. Obviously, they all caught on quickly, especially Hinata and Nishinoya, who immediately pounced on the captain.
The dark-haired guy stumbled backwards, trying to keep the two short guys still, but when Suga and Asahi decided to join the fun, he had no choice but topple to the ground while trying to hold back his laughter. "Guys! What a-ahare you doing? This is- ack! This is nohot necessary!"
"On the contrary, captain, this is exactly what you need." The vice-captain smirked teasingly at him and started poking his stomach. Asahi was keeping his arms pinned above his head with one hand and softly fluttered the fingers of the other one all over his neck and ears, changing sides every time he scrunched his shoulder to protect those spots.
Yamaguchi had managed to drag Tsukki into this, claiming that it was a bonding moment and he would've enjoyed it. They were straddling the captain's calves and squeezed the kneecaps and right above them. It made him kick so much that he almost managed to buck the first-years off a couple of times.
Noya was sitting between Daichi's legs and was squeezing his hips and sides quickly and mercilessly, while Tanaka was helping the vice-captain with the stomach. "Guhuys Ihihi sweheahahar..!" The dark-haired guy quickly dissolved into hiccupy giggles and found it impossible to build a complete sentence. "Ah ah ah," Suga teasingly reprimanded him "no swearing at school." He said while dipping his index finger in the wing spiker's belly button and wiggling around, which elicited some snorts that made everyone laugh out loud.
Obviously Hinata had joined the fun as well; he was getting the right side of the ribcage, having fun with counting the bones and sliding his fingers into every groove. "Oi Kageyama, are you coming?" He yelled, only receiving an annoying scoff in response. But he knew better. "Are you afraid I'm better than you at this?"
The setter glared intensely at him and approached the group (with the faintest blush on his face, according to Hinata). He kneeled by the left side of Daichi's ribcage and attacked, going immediately all out, to which the redhead responded with upping his game as well. "Thihihihis ihihis *snort* Thihihis ihis nohohot ahah- ACK! ahaha cohohompehetihihitiohon..!" The third-year scolded them between his laughter.
However, the other teammates seemed to disagree. Seeing the little competition between the freak-duo made them want to join. Daichi arched his back and tried to squirm as much as he could, which wasn't much since he didn't want to take the risk of hurting anyone. "Yohohou're beheheihing meheahahan nohow!" Whoops... wrong thing to say. The teens smirked evilly and started tickling him harder while teasing him as well!
He couldn't figure out who was saying what, he was too lost in his own laughter to listen carefully. He just heard a mix of voices saying "Tickle tickle tickle..." "Aaaww come on, smile captain" "Hahaha did you just snort?" "Hehehe see? This day must be happy for all of us, now smile for us!" "Who's making you laugh more? Me or that boke?"
Okay, maybe he could figure out who asked that last question, but that wasn't the point. He felt his face become red, and he couldn't even hide behind his hands since Asahi was keeping them pinned. But it wasn't so bad after all... until someone, probably Suga, had the idea of going for his thighs. That made him go berserk.
"BAHAHAHAHAHAHA OHOHOKAHAHAHAY IHIHI GIHIHIVEHE!! IHIHIHIHI GIHIVEHEHEHE PLEHEHEAHASE STAHAHAHAHAHAP!!" He screm at the top of his lungs. His thighs were his absolute worst spot, and he'd been enduring that playful assault for God knows how long; it made him tap out almost immediately.
"Alright, let's let him up." The grey-haired guy told everyone to stop and helped the captain to sit up. He was still giggling and a giddy smile was plastered all over his face. "That... that wahas... absoluhutely ruthless..." he panted "but maybehe I needed that... thahank you guys..." he finished with a chuckle.
"Thank you, Daichi, for being the greatest captain ever and even guiding us all the way to nationals." Suga said with teary eyes. What could he say... even Mr. Refreshing himself wasn't immune to the strange feeling of saying goodbye. He was already feeling nostalgic as well!
"Sugaaa!! We said no tears!" Hinata yelled while tackling him down and going straight for his sides and tummy. "Hihinahataaa! WhaHAHAhat aharehehe yoHOHouhu dohohoIHIhihiHIng?!" The vice-captain broke down into his high-pitched and squeaky laughter. "Hahaha I think I'll join as well... it's true that we said no tears after all." Asahi said approaching to the grey-haired guy, only to lift up Hinata and blow a raspberry on his tummy.
"NAHAHAHA AHAHASAHAHAIHIHI GEHET HIHIHIM NAHAHAT MEHEHEHEHEEE" The tangerine howled, but he was quickly rescued by Noya, who took advantage of Asahi's distraction while he was putting down Hinata to jump on his back and tickle his neck and torso.
Right after he recovered, the redhead pounced on Kageyama, bringing him down. "Bohohokehehe yohou're gohonnahaha gehehet ihihihit!!" He yelled, trying to sound angry and intimidating, before fighting back and darting his hands up into the middle blocker's underarms. "Ihihi'll beheahahat yohohouhu thihis tihihimehehehe Bahahakahageheyahahama!"
In the meanwhile, Suga thought that a certain couple of first-years was missing too much on the fun, so he wrapped an arm around Yamaguchi's shoulders to keep him in place while he scribbled on his tummy with his other hand. "Nononoohohohoho pleheheahaseee" The pinch server's legs gave out and he went to the floor, but he never did anything to actually stop the older guy.
Tanaka decided to help the vice-captain with his mission and went straight after Tsukishima, who desperately tried to not laugh... in vain of course.
Before they knew it, a tickle fight on full scale had blown out in the gym and everyone was laughing their head off.
Daichi glanced at the mess right in front of him before joining. The thought of graduating didn't sound so scary or sad after all, because now he knew he was never truly going to leave his team, or better, his family.
dessiiiiiiiiiiie could i please request orange heart with the karasuno third years ???????????? thank you thank you🧡
I. Freaking. Loved this prompt. I legit got kinda emotional writing it towards the end and it was just soooo much fun to write!!! Thanks so much for sending it in @danibby! I love you and happy platonic Valentine's day! ❤️
Through Thick and Thin
Switches: Karasuno Third Years
"What's so weird about it? We're friends aren't we? Friends love each other too!"
Asahi and Daichi both chuckled at the level of passion in Suga's statement, the setter having gotten a bit fired up after the two of them had started joking about how strange it was for three senior guys in highschool to be spending Valentine's day having a guy's game night of all things.
The three of them were currently huddled together on the floor of Suga's living room together, playing video games as they had done atleast once a month, every month ever since their first year.
Things had been pretty peaceful for a while, a comfortable silence having settled itself around the three friends as they all just enjoyed each other's company.
Well, up until now, that is.
"Hey, there's no need to get all worked up about it man, we were just joking you know." Asahi, ever the peacemaker, tried to reason, trying to keep from laughing outright when Suga puffed his cheeks out poutily. Daichi didn't show nearly as much self control and received a rather painful looking slug to the arm for his lack of tact.
God, he may act like a mom when he was around the first and second years but he could sure be childish when it was just the three of them.
"Yeah, well, it's not funny! You guys better not ditch me if you start dating or else."
Daichi grinned at that, letting his rarely shown mischievous side shine through now that he wasn't in his captain mode. "Or else what?" He challenged, a note of playfulness in his voice.
Suga's eyes snapped over to his, and they held each other's gazes evenly for about a minute before Suga returned the mischievous grin.
Then he lunged, and there was complete and utter chaos after that.
Daichi, having long since become used to his friend's ambushes over the years, leapt up and ran around to put the couch between him and the setter, cackling when the other crashed face first into the blanket covered floor when his target was no longer there.
Suga, justifiably enraged by this, scrambled up to chase after him, only to faceplant a second time when he tripped over one of Asahi's legs, sending Daichi into even further hysterics.
His mirth ended up being his demise though, as he couldn't seem to contain his giggles long enough to make a break for it when Suga advanced on him on hands and knees. He made quick work of pulling Daichi's legs out from under him, and straddled him the second he was on the floor.
"Ha! This is what you get for laughing at me!"
"Hey what the- Ack! Kohohoushi!! Cuhuhuhut that out!! Gehehehet off!! Hehehey!!"
Daichi fell into a whole new fit of cackles, completely unrelated to his friend's embarrassing lack of reflexes and balance this time as his friend skillfully squeezed up and down his sides. He tried to shove the other teen off, but once Suga had you down and laughing it was pretty difficult to break away from him.
"Not until you apologize for being a jerk! Oh, and you have to promise you're not gonna ditch Asahi and I for some pretty girl down the road! You better still come to our monthly sleepovers! Asahi's already promised to make the trip from all the way from Tokyo for it when he graduates, so you better not be thinking you can get away with skipping it either! Got it?!"
Good Lord, Suga really did sound like a nagging mother sometimes. Nonetheless, Daichi nodded along with him through his laughter as he clung to the other's wrists tightly.
"Okayokahhahay I get ihihit!! I'm sohohohohohorry!! Now lehehehet go!" Suga did exactly that, a victorious smirk on his face as he leaned up with his arms crossed.
"Hmph! Maybe now you'll think twice before deciding to get smart with m- EEEEE!!!"
While Suga was busy with the beginning of his lecture, Daichi used his moment of distraction to sit up and stuff his hands into his friend's underarms, causing him to clamp his arms down with a shriek as he toppled off of him.
Asahi watched, half amused and half exasperated, as his two friends wrestled on the floor, both of them laughing themselves breathless and having the time of their lives.
It wasn't long before he too was dragged into the fun as well, the two former wrestling opponents seemingly have made some sort of unspoken truce as they tag teamed him.
And as he lay there laughing and goofing off with his two friends, having tickle fights and throwing pillows at eachother, somewhere in the back of his mind he knew that no matter what happened after graduation, he would always do his best to preserve these friendships.
They might be third years, and they might have to act more mature sometimes, but in the end, on nights like this when it was just the three of them, he knew in his heart that they would always be the same goofy trio through thick and thin. And he wouldn't have it any other way.
@ragewerthers I’m so so so sorry, this took me way too long and it’s not nearly enough to make up for the time you had to wait! I hope you enjoy it anyways!
O~o~O
“NISHINOYA!”
Half of the volleyball players leaned at the wall, arms crossed in front of their chest and enjoying the show: Sawamura Daichi was mad. Mad at these freaky second years of course, but it seemed like they had teamed up with Lev and Bokuto since they were trembling on the ground next to Karasuno's number 5.
Kuroo was relieved that he had overslept this morning, so Bokuto hadn't had any chance to drag him into it, and could casually lean on the wall now instead of getting strangled by Yaku.
Bokuto was lucky: Akaashi was reasonable and calm. His penalties were hard, but always justified.
Yaku was incredibly scary, but Lev didn't take his shouting seriously anyways. (But still Kuroo was glad not to share the first year's position.)
It wasn't that awful to screw something up in their team anyways, at least not for him.
Yaku always told him that he should behave appropriate to his age, blah blah blah, but as long as he could blame Lev for something, it wouldn't get too bad.
But Karasuno. Oh Karasuno.
Kuroo felt very sorry for the bald one and the Libero for having to deal with Sugawara and Sawamura whenever they did something fun. It must've been horrible.
However, Akaashi and Yaku were standing behind the black haired captain of Karasuno and even Yaku looked like he was in fear of his opponent right now: He didn't glare at Lev, not at all, a sign for how much he worried about his own life.
“NISHINOYA, I SWEAR TO GOD, COME HERE!”
“Oh oh”, Kuroo heard next to him and when he threw a look, Karasuno's ace got ready to step in, probably to safe the Libero who had thought it would be a good idea to run away.
Running away was never a good idea. Kuroo knew. He, Lev and Yamamoto tried it once and then never again.
“Wait, I'll go”, he heard himself say and damned himself for this selfless act. He could already imagine the big softie getting ripped into a half by his angry classmate and on the other hand, Sawamura wouldn't dare to kill their hosts' captain. Hopefully.
A whisper went through the gym when he walked towards the frightening scenario. Takeda's eyes widened and Ukai stood up from the bench he was sitting at, ready to step in in case of an escalation. Coach Nekomata just watched with amusement and Kuroo felt slightly betrayed by the old man, but now there was no return.
“Heyy, Sa'amura … maybe wanna calm down a little?”
The glare that got shot at him almost made him burst into tears, but he didn't stop. Step by step he moved towards the other captain and even Nishinoya stopped from running away to watch them.
Kuroo caught Yaku staring at him in disbelief, as if he would ask himself how someone who got nightmares from Tim Burton movies and cried over the ending of The Big Bang Theory could be so brave. The middle blocker lifted his chin a bit and his eyebrows vanishing in the black mess he called hair clearly said: 'Watch me, bitch!'
“Look, captain, your teammates may be annoying, but being toxic could ruin the whole mood.”
“Toxic?!”, Sawamura barked and now his attention was a 100% with Kuroo. Shit. “I'm not toxic and it is not my fault that these jerks keep causing trouble, thank you very much!”
Kuroo took a little step backwards and swallowed when the other one followed him, staring right through his eyes and into his soul. Horrifying. Not even Yaku could do that. “Are you on their side now, rooster head? Huh? Do think it's funny that they keep getting on my nerves?”
“That was mean”, Kuroo mumbled while he continued to move away slowly. From the corner of his eye he saw the rest of the players getting back to practice, purposefully ignoring what was happening. Cowards. Lev and Yaku shrugged their shoulders when they walked away as well, next to Bokuto, Akaashi and Karasuno's number 5.
Now there was the wall in his back. And Sawamura in front of him. And as he saw Ukai, Takeda and Nekomata turning away to focus on their students, Kuroo knew that he was doomed. Unless he'd come up with a solution. Quick.
“So, you overgrown kitten, how is your answer?”
Very quick.
Sawamura stepped towards him and out of a reflex Kuroo lifted his hands and made an attempt to push the smaller one away. What he hadn't expected was the sudden flinch when he touched his sides and the muffled sound escaping the other one's lips.
Time stopped for a second, then Kuroo grinned and lifted an eyebrow. “Oya?”
“Shut up!”, Sawamura growled through gritted teeth and now it was his turn to step back.
Kuroo moved forward, his fingers wiggling in the air. “Oya Oya?”
Kuroo saw Akaashi looking at them with a slight grin and he quickly took a few steps to the side, so the only direction the country crow could go was towards the wall; the gym's corner to be exact.
“Oya Oya Oya?”
Sawamura gulped when he couldn't move away anymore. “I'm warning you, one step closer …”
“Oh, what are ya going to do, hm? Shout at me? Be mad with me? I'm sorry!”
Kuroo's grin widened. “That's what I'd call an anger issue, Sawamura. It would be good for you to let go from time to time, don't you think?”
And without any warning, Kuroo rushed towards the other captain. The surprise effect helped him to pin Sawamura at the wall; the crow was smaller, but also sturdier than him. He needed to act fast now, if he didn't want to get pushed back.
His fingers went to the one spot he knew for sure was ticklish: the sides. No risk, not now. Even he knew that this was dangerous.
Sawamura snorted and bit his lip. Two hands desperately tried to grip Kuroo's wrists, but the Nekoma captain stepped forward and pressed the smaller one onto the wall. That was it. The crow was trapped. No escape.
“Relax, Captain Crow!” Kuroo grinned. “I just want you to lighten up a bit. Don't take it personally.”
“H-how should I not tahake this personahallynokuroogetoff! Dohon't!” Sawamura squirmed to the side and Kuroo huffed when the smaller one stepped on his foot – on purpose! Punishment necessary!
“Ya want to provoke me, huh?”, Kuroo teased and clawed on the other captain's ribs now with more enthusiasm and Sawamura nearly choked, trying to hold in his laughter. “C'mon, let it all out”, the taller one mumbled and enjoyed the goosebumps his words left on the other one's neck. “Show your poor teammates that you can actually be nice.”
“Ahas if youhou'd knehew what thahat means”, the crow managed to gasp and shrieked when Kuroo wiggled his fingers into his armpits.
“What was that?”
A few heads turned into their direction, but especially Karasuno's first and second years looked away quickly, probably out of respect. The ace on the other hand eyed them for a bit longer and the gray haired vice captain even had the nerve to chuckle at the sight of his fellow player being pressed against the wall and tickled to death by his rival. Kuroo gave them a little wave before he focused on Sawamura once more.
His hands moved away from his armpits when the crow started to wheeze and moved down to his waist, his fingers no longer clawing but scribbling over the sensitive skin through the white shirt. “Let's start all over, shall we?” Kuroo threw Sawamura a smug grin. “You don't want your Kouhais to be scared of you, right, Sa'amura?”
“M-maybe I do”, the crow responded, still giggling desperately as he tried to capture Kuroo's wrists but failed miserably.
Kuroo shook his head. “Nah nah, not very nice of you!” While pinching the smaller one's hipbones which got him to cackle wildly, he turned around to where his team was practicing. “Inuoka, are you afraid of me?” The first year shook his head and Kuroo turned back, trying not to think about what that said about his natural authority. “See? My Kouhais aren't scared. And why is that?”
Red faced but still somehow prideful, Sawamura looked up to him. “Behecause you're a softyhynYAHAHANAO NONONO KUROO!”
Now nearly the whole gym looked into their direction and a few players chuckled while the coaches just shook their heads smiling and Karasuno's first year manager blushed to infinity and beyond as Kuroo dug into Sawamura's ribs, scribbling all over the sensitive bones and massaging the intervening spaces, pressing his knee to the smaller one's thighs so they wouldn't topple over.
“So, Papa Crow, wanna tell your precious Kouhais something?”
“LIHIKE HEHELL I'D DOHAHANAHA!”
“I think we deserve an apology. Your anger is poison for our good mood. You're really disturbing practice.”
“FAHAHACK STAHAP PLEHEHEASE!”
“You can make it stop yourself, just say you're sorry for being grumpy and shouting at the others.”
Kuroo grinned and he had to admit that Sawamura looked pretty cute, all blushed and flustered, hanging weak in his hold and laughing like tomorrow won't arrive. As tears began to prick out of the corners of his eyes, he slowed the tickling down a bit.
“Fihihine!”, the crow eventually gasped and blushed a bit harder. “Ihihim sohorry fohor beheheing gruhahampy ahand shouhouting at you!”
Kuroo gave him a few final pokes, then he finally stopped and patted the panting captain's shoulder. “See? Was it that hard?”
Sawamura looked up at him and if it wasn't for Sugawara to come over and wrap an arm around his captain, Kuroo would've probably ran off at the sight of the dark expression on his face. “You'll get that back, Kitten!”
Kuroo gulped as the crows went over to the fields and Sawamura, still red in the face tho, shot a playful glare to all the others who had interrupted their practice to watch them. “What's up? We're here to play volleyball!”
“YEAH!”, everyone screamed back and even though his heartbeat increased in speed as Sawamura threw him a scary smile, Kuroo couldn't help but grin. The mood was lightened.
My dear @ragewerthers, I’m posting it again on Tumblr as you wished!
summary: Daichi’s stressed with studying and Kuroo thinks that his little honey-crow just needs to calm down a bit.
prompt: It would also be super sweet to read a fic with Daichi/Kuroo as well where Daichi is trying to study and Kuroo keeps trying to bother him until he finds out that Daichi is ticklish and then chaos reigns! :D
Originally posted on Ao3, check my other fics out as well: https://archiveofourown.org/works/22822003
Enjoy!
It was good to have a roommate. Daichi remembered his first semester at the university when he lived on his own in a small apartment in town and it had been fine, but he hadn't had to think long about Kuroo's offer.
They had met because of Bokuto's birthday and when he told Kuroo about his situation, the former Nekoma captain had invited him to share a flat. Now they were living together. And it was nice.
They never argued long about the TV program because they liked the same shows and movies (except for Daichi's fanatic love for Tim Burton movies which Kuroo and his nightmares of Sweeney Todd could definitely not appreciate) and even though it was dangerous to let Kuroo near the stove, he made the best sandwiches Daichi ever had eaten.
And yeah, maybe he liked it a bit too much to live with Kuroo.
He had never realized it back in high school, but the taller one was indeed hot – and funny. Back then most of his snarky comments had been about Karasuno and their diving drills, but now that Kuroo made snarky comments about other things in order to amuse Daichi, it was different.
Now Daichi couldn't read Kuroo's mind and maybe that was good for he would've been slightly confused about the … intense thoughts the middle blocker had about his thighs. But he also would've been flattered for he would've received tons of compliments in every kind of situation.
Well, if he would've been able to read Kuroo's mind back then, it wouldn't have lasted so long until they had gained enough courage to make the first step. At the same time. Their foreheads crushing together had been a very painful experience, but Daichi didn't regret anything.
After getting some ice for their heads, they had managed their first kiss and (FINALLY, as Bokuto would say) became a couple. Daichi was happy with Kuroo.
But there were always two sides of the coin.
The former Karasuno captain considered it normal that nobody was perfect and not even a relationship could stop people from finding other people annoying sometimes. And Kuroo had very annoying habits, nobody could tell him otherwise!
There were those people who always needed attention.
Look at me, I'm here, don't you see me, hello, talk to me, love me, hug me, over here, help, I'm suffering, I'm dying, what the fuck is wrong with you I'm doing a literal opera right next to you now pay attention to me!
Kuroo was one of those people. Not always though, but always then when Daichi couldn't pay any attention to him. Because he needed to concentrate. On, for example, studying.
“Sa'amura.”
No.
“Daichiiii.”
Never.
“Oh c'mon dude!”
He was not going to turn around for …
“DAICHI!”
Daichi dropped his pen and glared at his boyfriend with every little piece of authority he could get his hands at, unfortunately without any viewable success. Fine, that called for drastic measures.
“One more word and I'll shave your head!”
Kuroo lifted his hands in the air as to defend himself. “Wow, no need to freak out!”
Daichi breathed in and out and closed his eyes for a second. Not to calm down but to get rid of this shit eating grin in front of him. Then he looked at his boyfriend. “What do you want, Tetsu?”
Kuroo's grin got a bit wider and he leaned onto Daichi's shoulder. “I just wanted to see you smile!”
Daichi rolled his eyes and moved his shoulder so Kuroo's chin fell off. “Nice try. I need to study.”
Beautiful silence filled the room. For ten seconds.
“Daichi?”
Daichi ignored Kuroo with a perfection like nobody could do better. Only a little twitch of his eyebrow showed that he was getting more impatient with the disturbing noise next to him from second to second.
“Daichi, don't you dare to ignore me!”
Oh yes, he dared! He dared to do whatever the fuck he wanted!
“You can't learn the whole day y'know. You'll need a break.”
Once again Daichi dropped his pen. No, wait, he didn't drop it. He smashed it on the table and splattered a bit ink on his notes.
“Don't be so motherly! Who are you, Sugawara?! I can study the whole day and you know what? I will study the whole day! You have no right to tell me what I can do and what I can't do!”
Kuroo watched him for a few seconds, then he sighed. “You're stressed.”
“Yeah, a certain someone wouldn't stop to bother me!”
“You mean a certain exam.”
Kuroo wrapped his arms around Daichi's shoulders. “Would you mind smiling for me?”
“I would indeed mind for I need to …” Daichi interrupted himself with a squeak when the overgrown kitty he called his boyfriend nuzzled it's nose into the side of his neck.
The time seemed to stop for a few heartbeats, then the crow felt a smug grin on his skin.
“Smile for me?”
“No, forget it!”
Kuroo scribbled his long fingers over Daichi's collarbone, but the smaller one only bit his lip and froze completely. “Please? Smile for me? Only a tiny little smile?”
“No!” Daichi muttered through gritted teeth.
Kuroo placed a little kiss on his neck which almost got a giggle out of him.
“Don't be so stubborn! Give me smile, honey!”
“Don't call me honey, you donkey!”
While he was still saying it, Daichi realized that he had made a horrible mistake for Kuroo pouted but also had a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Mean mean Sa'amura. You spend too much time with Iwaizumi.”
“And you sound like Oikawa.”
“Alright, that's it.”
“NO, KUROO!”
Daichi screeched in a very unmanly high pitched voice and if there hadn't been a massive wooden desk in his way, he would've thrown himself towards the ground in order to escape from his boyfriend's mean fingers which were digging in his sides. Wearing only a thin t-shirt, nothing protected him from the little lightnings that shot through his body.
“Are you smiling for me now, honey?”
“Ihi told you to nohot call mehe hoNEYAHAHA STAHAHAP!”
Kuroo grinned evilly down at his laughing boyfriend and chuckled lightly as Daichi let out another scream when he pinched his hipbone. “Oh? What's this? Have I found a dead spot? Right at the beginning? Oh no, I'm so sorry, honey.”
“NAHAHAHAO DOHON'T CAHAHALL ME THAHAHAT!”
“Excuse me honey, did you say something? Someone's laughing so loud in here, I can't really understand you.” Kuroo sighed when a tear appeared in the corner of Daichi's eye. “Alright alright, we don't want to kill you already, right?”
Daichi held his breath for a second when Kuroo let go off his super vulnerable hips, then he burst into another fit of giggles as he felt teasing fingertips brush around his neck. “Neheheahat thehehehere!” He scrunched up his shoulders and squirmed a bit but it didn't take long for him to realize that he was technically trapped inside his chair.
“Not there? But honey, where else should I tickle you? You're so sensitive everywhere, it wouldn't make a difference if I just switched over to … your ribs?” Kuroo seemed to be very satisfied by the shriek he got out of his boyfriend when he started to count his ribs. “One, two, three … damn honey, now I lost it! Don't squirm so much!”
Daichi didn't even listen to him anymore. He was too busy catching his breath and searching for a way to escape from Kuroo's evil fingers. More because of a reflex than of a real plan he tried to grab the taller one's wrists.
“Hush, bad little crow! Guess I'll have to punish you.” Daichi nearly collapsed in the chair when he felt two hands wriggling around like crazy in his armpits and snorted (which Kuroo considered the most adorable sound he'd ever heard).
“Don't think I forgot your hips, honey”, Kuroo teased and then placed little ticklish kisses on Daichi's neck while he was squeezing his hipbones, making the poor man cry and howl with laughter at the same time.
Kuroo started to hum a little song that came to his mind and if someone would've entered the room, he would've seen a rather strange picture: Kuroo standing next to the chair, singing a little song like he was alone in front of the chimney on a winter evening – and Daichi, more hanging like sitting in the chair and laughing his ass off as he was trying to escape.
When the former Karasuno player started to choke a bit on his now wheezing laughter, the taller one finally took his hands off him and grinned, smug and jubilant. “How are you, crow boy?”
“Fuck you”, Daichi gasped, still giggling slightly. Sweat ran down his forehead and his chest was moving up and down way too fast as he tried to catch his breath. “Just you wait, just youahaha NO!”
Kuroo chuckled and stopped the poking. “C'mon, you're not mad with me, aren't ya?”
“Not sure”, Daichi mumbled, but allowed Kuroo to pull him into a hug.
“I just wanted you to relax a bit. You look so stressed all the time.”
“I know. Thank you.”
“Would you smile for me now?”
Daichi rolled his eyes in amusement and looked up at Kuroo, placing a little kiss on his chin. “If I do, will you stop being so annoying and just ask me to take a break the next time?”
Kuroo shrugged his shoulders. “I'll try.”
Daichi chuckled lightly and there was a beautiful moment of silence.
“How didn't I know you're ticklish back in high school? Our practice matches could've been so much more fun?”
