Switches: Jester, Harlequin
It was silent in the tent Jester was currently in. A good thing too. After a long day of performing for those... humans, he really needed a break, so that's what he was doing. Escaping the loud noises of crowds, fighting amongst the other members (Harlequin and Pierrot) and just the outside in general, he was sat in a chair reading a book.
He enjoyed reading, it was relaxing.
"Hey, Jester!"
It was relaxing.
A familiar, annoying voice called out from the entrance of his tent. One that was followed by footsteps getting closer and closer.
"What do you want, Harlequin?" Whatever Harlequin wanted would definitely be some kind of inconvenience, so he wanted to get this over with as soon as possible.
"It's just so bori-" "No."
Jester knew that tone of voice and the use of the word 'boring'. It meant that this wasn't a small favour or question he could just get over with. Harlequin wanted to stick around and be his usual bothersome self. Jester changed his mind, he needed to drive him out now.
"Aww, but why~?" Whined Harlequin in his usual obnoxiously dramatic fashion, draping himself on the back of the chair.
"I don't have time nor the patience for your nonsense. Leave." He figured that would be enough, but he was wrong. For the next who knows how long, Harlequin stayed babbling about something Jester didn't care to listen to. He just continued to ignore him, reading his book. Well, looking at his book. The noise was a bit distracting, but he couldn't show that. There was a point to prove.
It seemed that Harlequin was none the wiser, progressively getting more irritating as he realised he wasn't getting a reaction from Jester. Then he got an idea. It was risky, not like that would ever stop Harlequin though.
Jester grew apprehensive. Harlequin was quiet and that was never good. He was almost certainly planning something. Something he needed to stop-
"Hng-!" A chocked yelp escaped from the jester as he felt something lightly poking his stomach. He glanced down and saw one of Harlequin infamous tentacles at work. And infamous was right. They were his main weapon when it came to... this, which he knows is on purpose.
"Something wrong, Jester~?" Definitely on purpose. Jester could practically hear the shit-eating grin on the other's face. Something was most certainly wrong, but Harlequin couldn't know that.
With a shaky sigh, Jester composed himself. His eyes were glued onto his book, not reading, he just needed to look like he was while he focused on keeping his mouth shut and his face still.
This was something that came easy to him. He was good at disguising his reactions... so why was it so hard this time.
And it only got harder when he felt another on his ribs. It was gentle, yet persistently. No matter where he "nonchalantly" placed his arm, he couldn't stop it from digging into the gaps between his ribs, steadily going up then down as if counting.
"Hk-!" He had to swallow another giggle. Two spots at once was something he wasn't used to, even as gently as this. If you asked any of the circus members, they would say that Jester wasn't that ticklish. That's what he wanted them to think because the truth was way more embarrassing...
"Hm? What was that?" Harlequin piped up again, the teasing edge in his voice unmistakable. He was breaking Jester. Slowly, carefully the only way to do it. It was almost professional the way he was doing it, like someone who did his research. It was most likely a lucky accident of someone who was trying to be a bother but found something better.
"Nothing." The answer was probably too quick to be convincing, not like Jester had time to care. Especially when another tentacle emerged and this time, went for his neck.
"Hehe- Ahaha!" Laughter he failed to restrain, poured from his lips. He could hear Harlequin's excited gasp at his victory, but he couldn't care less. This moron and his stupid luck! Out of all places... He was too overwhelmed to make any proper complaints, instead he scrunched his neck, bringing his chin down to protect the sensitive spot.
"I dont think so!" To make this much more maddening, Jester's efforts were to no avail as another tentacle joined the first. He now had one on each side of his neck, meaning that if he went to protect the one, he would leave the other exposed.
Defeated, he brings the book to his face, hiding the purple blush (which he would later deny) on his face.
"Aw~ How cute of you, Jester. I wouldn't expect this from you!" With the tease, another tentacle came, this time going for one of his small horns.
"Snrk- Haharlehey!" The giggling jester let out a snort of sorts and tried to shake off the tentacle by moving his head, but it clung just like the rest. There was nothing he could do but laugh as he was overwhelmed by Harlequin's ticklesand teases.
That was until he saw that grin again and- and his tongue poking out! This menace needed to be put in his place immediately. It didn't matter how fuzzy he felt and how much he liked it. This needed to stop for the sake of his dignity.
With a new determination, he raked his long claws along the tentacle at his stomach. The reaction was instantaneous.
"Hehey!" Harlequin's shriek and giggle ensured Jester's victory. As he staggered back to avoid the touch, Harlequin tripped. Then he looked up and saw Jester looming over him.
"U-Um... Sorry-" Just like Jester was, he was so rudely interrupted by the ler in this situation. It was by another one of his own shrieks when Jester dragged his claws along another one of his tentacles.
"That was quite the stunt you pulled." The jester stated, continuing the motions of his claws on the poor, writhing tentacle.
"NAHAHA! JEHEHESTER!" Harlequin was floored as his most ticklish spot (or spots) were targeted.
"How dare you do such a thing." Jester continued, ignoring Harlequin's plight. The hysterical laughter, the squirming, whatever words the lee could muster, didn't hinder Jester's revenge.
It instead encouraged him as his other hand found a different tentacle and repeated the same action with those claws.
"KAHAHAHA! HEHEHE!" The squirming only increased which forced Jester to straddle him just to keep him still. He decided not to bring up the fact the rest of the tentacles didn't make an effort to remove him. They wrapped around him, but didn't even pull. He stored that for later use.
It didn't take long for Harlequin to get tired out, Jester deemed this a good time to finish up. "Are you sorry?"
Harlequin seemed to miss what he said, it was like he wanted this to continue.
At this, Jester sped up his claws. "I asked if you were sorry."
With a final shriek, Harlequin gave in. "YEHEHES! IHI'M SOHOHRRY!"
"Good." Jester finally stopped, but didn't get up. Mostly because Harlequin was still keeping him there. A soft smile appeared on Jester's face, Harlequin was clingy, even when tickle-drunk.
