It’s a wild swing that Millar takes here, answering series-long questions with deliberately unsatisfying answers. One can even read it as a deconstruction of the legacy sequel, where things that didn’t need answers get answers that you’re gonna hate. The ending ultimately feels like the most un-Millar part, absurdly optimistic with its hope. We don’t believe a word of it, Mark, but at least you’re still making stuff that’s gonna piss people off. Thought the artist on the first two chapters was good, but the last two chapters didn’t really shine as much as they could’ve for a series climax.

A man has been arrested, accused of kidnapping a woman and holding her against her will at a southeast Houston home for several years.

So. Viper the Rapper just got busted for kidnapping and imprisoning a woman for 4-5 years

I guess yeah no duh internet famous hustler, crack smoker and weirdo turns out to be complete nutbars. But never did I expect this kind of depravity.

But fuck man. I liked this guys music unironically. I HAVE PHYSICAL TAPES AND RECORDS.

Thank goodness that poor woman is finally free. I hope they throw the book at him and she gets the help she needs.
