100 word prompts-Unsettling revelations

Note: So an another @teashopwriting drabble wth Almost Home,which sometimes rumours can be real! A short one,as I think I did 3-4 drabbles for CNY queue tomorrow as I am pretty busy with relatives visitations,hope you enjoy it. 

As Lee stumbled upon the haunted Stuart manor,she could not help but to feel the creeps,perhaps that is why no one refused to tear down the manor,it was draped with the vines,and rumors spoke that the ghosts of the Stuarts possessed the manor. Lee puffed her cheeks slightly,it was nothing but paranoid,God-abiding souls,as she clicked on that torchlight and slowly examined the surroundings,dust crept to them,like those old museum exhibits which Laurelie and hers,she hated that idea of the past to be preserved, but the story of the missing twins sounds intriguing. She slowly explored through the nooks and crannies,what a charmed life,they must live by,sipping cold teas-to be corseted and charming to potential suitors,perhaps that mossy pond was perhaps sparkling,looking like the running river Styx. 

There she glance at that old daguerreotype ,there came by a couple,she seems to be so beautiful,with her pursed lips and eyes as calm as the cat on the prowl,the father,beaming with pride,with that sparkle despite the stoic looks,and there she glanced at the two girls,both wearing virginal white dresses,their hands in a clasp together,as one twin seems to reassure the other,she heard of the talks how Laurelie behaved like the fallen Mary Stuart,and Lee,Harper,she thought that it was nothing,but she seems to be drawn by that gaze of the other girl,she has that fiery gaze and that deep grip,as if life clawed to her,that is frightening,she did that same gaze especially on confronting Laurelie. Perhaps myths become truths.

642 things to write: A small bomb,sibling rivaries and a phone call gone wrong

Note: some quick scribbles for lunch,so we have Fenrir being the badass with his alchemy (I seen him as the quiet dude in heist missions),Lee disapproving her sister and Miranda in trouble.

Prompt: Set something on fire (Escaping the vaults with Fenrir)

As Fenrir casually rolled out the bomb to the surroundings ‘I suggest you cover your ears-”his tone of dry wit startled Auberon hearing at the slow fizz,and it crackle a small flame,to make the explosion,glimpses of rare jewels,paintings of mythological figures in erotic form and a well of gold that he did not see before,quickly Idunn and Auberon put on the masks “Fenrir how long does the sleeping potion last-” Fenrir busily unpicking the vaults by his little acid bottles “Do not worry,it should give us enough up to dry up Mmir’s riches-”,Idunn looking in disgust on the topics “He is indeed a dirty old man,I mean the colours are gaudy,and the subjects-” her face writhed in disgust,as she glanced the gaudy sex scene between a young woman pincihing the nipples on another ”Auberon in a trance on the beautiful treasures as he delicately picked up the rings,when he saw Odin beating up the guards “what the hell are you doing we better hurry-”

There Fenrir drank an unusual liquid and threw a small bomb “Perhaps Mmir would love a good show,it should buy us time to escape-”,spitting the liquid around the marble floors,cracking a cocky smile,he threw a burning fuse and slowly he could hear the oohs and aahs from the guests,there they scramble upon the treasure waiting for the signal for Sigyn. Guards disoriented by the flames,as Fenrir make quick swoops with the chemicals.

Let’s pray for Lee’s soul,she need the Lord’s intervention. Lauelie is a blessing,laurelie is such a sweetheart,she should be the example for her wayward sister. How wonderful she studied so well in college the Lord indeed shine on that beautiful soul. Look how she is kind to the children. These words grit Lee so much,for her family members and the church painted her as the good woman,swerving the ownership of the Lord. She sang with sincerity on how she is a sinner,how she prurposley chose the clothes to show her modesty for family gatherings,that hospilaty digust her. She recall that sunday school story of Jospeh,she can relate to the jealous brothers-a boastiong sister,showing off her rainbow coat and telling cryptic dreams where the weeds bow down to him. 

True her parents disapprove over her readings on Milton,standing up for Gay rights and being opnionated,calling the church memebers to pray when she did not come punctually to church. However,at least she is not as blind,as the goddamn scales on her sister’s eyes,keep plummenting her to that eternal mission,as she goes back to the haunted Stuarts manison on her own,she could hear whisphers ands screams of Mad Luncinda as many rumored,and took that cigaratete that she stole from a friend of hers. Somehow she loved looking at the murky rivers,she could wish for the alligators to consume the goodyness of her parents.

Laurelie may be a saint dressed in her vriginal dress,but she is that Jezebel which she despiese-painting her eyelids to show off to the dead,a facade for her parents,to be honest,she cannot bluff Lee.

Prompt: The most troubling phone call you hope you never receive. (Bertha calling Miranda)

“Holy shit-” Miranda muttered quickly,she knows that Bertha is often worried insecure but little she knows that it was to a point three Am in the morning,but Bertha’s voice seem to be in the panic,as she could hear the buzz of the bus “I need to come now,I am f**ked I am f**ked-”,Miranda have to place her rationality “what happened ? did you just caught by the p[olice or what-”,her hands twitched furiously as she could hear Bertha slurring her words “what what you are breaking up Bertha you are breaking up-”,there she quickly texted “Where?”

All of Bertha’s replies quick and in a hurry “i am gonna get killed-”,that ambiguity did not ease Miranda’s mind.However through Bertha’s cryptic texts knew of, the venue quickly she grabbed her bicycle, and rode to the library,the phone ring again,it was Bertha,quickly she aligned atthe stop “hello,Bertha I am coinmg” there she noticed a pale Bertha,her eyes almost teary and tucking in her scarf back and forth “are you alright-”

“what do you expect I am pretty much screwed-”her voice of agony and sacrasm mixed together “Amadea is blaming me on the recent death and I do not remember killing her-”

Note: Well since I wrote about Lee’s character in a prompt-well I thought of Lee becoming more liberal,and cause the friction to Lauraelie who has a crush on Hooper.

Prompt: The meanest thing anyone has ever said to you 

As they are in church,Lauraelie listening to her father’s sermons on keeping their bodies as a holy temple ,Lee rolled her eyes in boredom,as she seen her sister deep in worship,for she excused herself in the toilet and start messaging to Hooper “Hey y’all wanna meet elsewhere.” and quickly swipe the pregnancy test. For she is anxious that she could be pregnant by one of the churchgoers-the sweet Cade. 

There she quickly ran out when she saw a feeble old woman in need. There Lee changed her rebellious ways,quickly to preserve the image of daddy’s little girl “Hello there Mrs Anderson may I help you” Mrs Jefferson’s eyes light up “I praise our heavenly father to bring such beautiful young ladies like Pastor Stevens daughters-he would be proud of you"

Lee could hear the hymn “Victory in Jesus” playing loudly by the old Mr Jefferson,as she hummed quietly,sneaking to the pews where Lauraelie was in tears singing the hymn. “I want to tell you something-“ as she gazed at her father waving his arms in awe of the God. Laureate looked at Lee’s nervous expression “Don’t you know that you cannot speak in church-“ Lee whispered loudly “there is something not good and I do not want daddy to know-“ Lauraelie have an exasperated sigh “Alright” 

There both went to the field,Lauraelie knew a secret hideout away from the parents,Lee mumbled slightly “You know that I could be pregnant?"“Wait? what?” Lauraelie tried to recite the verse to repel the anger,for she has many swirling thoughts on her sister recently being rebellious “Whose is the boy who did that to you"Lauraelie,for she never swore in her entire life,fearing the slaps from her father and mother  “You slut,you Jezebel! In jesus’ name I bind that funny thought now,Satan never enter” as she started to shake her rebellious sister Lee. Lee knows that it was a bad idea to asked her sister to reveal a maybe “Listen Elie! I dunno I have been missing my period” Lauraelie in tears,disappointed by her sister’s choices “You know how Daddy will treat you-he will be wrathful and you will be sent to hell"

Lee snapped as her facade as the good christian girl is making her weary “Stop cursing it is a maybe,you think you are righteous like the saints? I saw you the other night sneaking out from daddy’s supervision to hang out with Hooper-you like him!” There she thought quietly “Remember old Mabel-Never pick the sin from someone’s eye when you have the plank in your goddamn eye sister” There Lauraelie has the shock,Lee grew more tainted “Admit it,you are sick of listening to Daddy’s advice on being that good little girl and singing those hymns which is meaningless,as a badge for your sainthood” Lauraelie grew repulsed on that conversation “DO NOT TEMPT ME JEZEBEL  AND HOW YOU  DO YOU SWEAR IN GOD’S NAME" 

there many people came out from the church,Lauraelie has to quickly make the appearance that she is not in tears from her sister’s insults,by running to the toilet and there Lee smiled coldly “I bet you are happy you are nothing but a crusader who fights for nothing"
