ok so i rewatched love in the moonlight bc my friend was watching it and posting it on her story and im like oh hey i kinda remember that drama so then i go on kissasian to rewatch it for shits and giggles. while i was rewatching one of the episodes near the middle of the series, i kept recognizing characters like oh hey that girl oh hey that guy BUT THEN.

i saw him.

byeong yeon.

my ultimate crush throughout the whole drama.

and then i remembered like most of the plot that happened with him and im like omg i missed u my baby boy

then i go back to the first episode and just watched byeong yeon’s parts bc im like that. i notice more and more of the little glances to the prince and im like omg gaygaygaygay

especially those times where that one guy was like “the crown prince isn’t your friend” and byeongyeon was like :( and the one time he beat the shit out of the guy bc of it like he just wanted to be the prince’s friend and i just :,(((

and then episode 17 happens

and i’ll never forget THE scene

where the prince tells him to keep his sword up otherwise he’ll lose him the moment he drops his sword and im like omg sad gay

then byeongyeon drops the sword anyway and im like JFKSJDKKSKSD half bc oh no my baby boy :((( and half yes angst pls

and then byeongyeon gets attacked and then the prince cradles him in his arms so delicately. like the way he held byeongyeon’s hand and was so scared to touch his wounds i c ri e d

then the prince pulled the “if i had to trust only one person in the world, without change it would be you” and i sobbed

BUT THEN byeongyeon smiled (i cried) and said “thank you for believing me” but like the kissasian subs emphasized that he said “thank you” in an intimate speech style which i think is just like dropping the formal language and i so b b e d

bc byeongyeon said it in the intimate speech style and like that means that he really wanted to show that he cared and like really loved the prince and i just cried uncontrollably

basically this was a long rant to say that byeongyeon was in love with the prince
