Week Two: Monday continued...

We travelled from Ultimo to Space Furniture in Alexandria for 'Park Life', a showroom and exhibition of UK's product designer Lee Brooms new products. Currated in collaboration with Space Furniture, the exhibition is situated centrally in the underground car park, where you enter via the emergency staircase. At the bottom of the staircase, you encounter a long pathway enclosed in black cloth. As you walk the crunching of the pebbles under your weight as you make your way through trying to keep you balance. An aroma wafts through the air as you exit the tunnel. The pathways reveals the entrance of the exhibition where two statues stand on either side, guardians of the maze of currated lights and ornaments.
