You’ve always loved the ocean ever since you were a child, which is why it was a perfect opportunity that your mother decided to move both of you to a new home by the seaside to start fresh again.
A new home, a new school, and the smell of the sea that follows you everywhere.
What could go wrong?
Well, every night while taking out the trash, at a distance you spotted a strange-looking creature on the shore. At first glance it can be easily dismissed as a “big fish," but taking a closer look, it takes a more close form of a mermaid— Its body was colored teal with a long tail and sharp fins. Yet all it did was seem to peek its head over the water before diving back in again.
While riding your bike back home after picking up vegetables in a nearby forest for dinner, you spotted the strange-looking mermaid by the shore once again.
There was enough spare time before cooking dinner so you decided to approach it. You parked your bike and headed to the shore very excitedly—this was your first time seeing an odd mermaid, after all.
Just upon arriving, to your disappointment, it seemed like the mermaid had disappeared once again; just when you turned back, you heard a voice behind you.
"Oh my, i was right waiting for you here."
You looked back to the ocean; just as expected, it was there, smiling towards you.
“What?! How did you—”
You were left speechless, now seeing a boy in front of you with a polite yet carefree expression.
"Oh? It was not my intention to scare you at all,” he placed his hand on his chest, yet by his tone he doesn't seem to be apologetic at all.
“I was merely curious looking at a human this close.”
His smile widened, almost showing his sharp teeth.
“Do you mean me? Ah, that's right! "I haven't said my name yet," you said as you stepped closer, causing your feet to submerge in the water. "I'm (your name), and you must be...?”
“How terribly rude of me, Jade Leech is my name," he replied, following a small chuckle.
“Jade, huh? ” you hummed in thought. “Why do you always appear here every night? ”
“Just like what i said before i— Oh my? ” he abruptly stopped his sentence; something seemed to catch his eye.
“If I may ask, what is inside that bag you're holding? "
“Oh, you mean this? ” you held the plastic bag up. "It's a bag of shiitake mushrooms for dinner!” you smiled, proudly showing your bag of vegetables.
"Shiitake... mushroom..." he muttered to himself before smiling in delight. "Ah, how wonderful, the land really doesn't disappoint.”
“Would you like some? I can give you the leftovers of it later." It's probably his first time tasting something from the land; there shouldn't be any harm, you thought. “Oh? How kind of you to generously offer a stranger like me.” a small polite chuckle left his lips, “I almost can applaud your courage; humans are truly fascinating," he muttered to himself, a predatory smile on his lips.
"Huh, did you say something, jade?” you asked as you prepared to leave the shore. "It's nothing; i look forward to the meal. (Your name)”

“Jade! Jade, I'm here! "You shouted with a bag of leftover mushroom salad in your hand—where on earth could he be?
“My, my. You did take your time,” his voice appearing just below the waters before emerging. “Give me a break; more importantly, there's enough left for you! ” you sat down near the water while taking out the dish from the bag. “I hope you won't mind my cooking."
Jade swam closer until he was near you; his gaze seemed to drift towards observing your actions and then give you another one of his polite smiles.
You took a mouthful of salad and lifted it in front of him, only to feel his cold, scaly hand wrap around your wrist, gripping the spoon.

Your body stiffened in surprise at his gesture; by looking at his heterochromatic eyes, you might catch a mischievous glint in them. Slowly, he brought it closely… and took a bite of the salad.
“Oh my, how delicious.”
“W-What was that for!? ”
“Hm? What was what, (your name)?”
You immediately moved your hand away from his grasp; before realising it, your face was already flushed with embarrassment.
“That! I mean—never mind, it just caught me off guard.”
“Ah, my apologies. I got myself excited before I considered our proximity,” it was obvious that he was just teasing you.
“But pay that no mind; this shiitake mushroom you speak of has an exquisite flavor, and the texture itself is quite unique," jade hummed in thought. “But i do wonder.”
He leaned towards you again with a preying glint, “what do humans taste like?”

The fact that Azul is scared of Georgina is so silly to me. According to him she just randomly spaces out and stares at him while giggling. He states that whenever she sees him, she smothers him with snacks. I feel like since jade resembles his mother so much seeing him just stare at you blankly and giggling while trying to unsettle you is just so attractive to me. Not only that but imagine jade smothering you with snacks because he enjoys you but in his own cryptic way.

Author's note: Hello my lovely Krill's ! I had this cute idea of the tweels having a cute relationship with a fem mc (or s/o) who is a cleaner shrimp. The relationship between moray eels and the cleaner shrimp is just so cute to me.

Being the cleaner shrimp of two dangerous moray eels is the most difficult job for someone. Especially since those eels are the leech twins. Having someone who can't sit down for long (aka floyd) and someone who says morbid things with a small smile on his face to tease you is tiring (jade). However, you are grateful for your relationship with them. It's a win- win situation, you help them and they protect you.
Teasing is very common when dealing with both of them. You're shorter than them so you sit on their lap while you're seeing what you're working with. Floyd's very handsy so be prepared to deal with being touched or bitten randomly.
Jade is very observant, so as you're cleaning his teeth, you feel his heterochromatic eyes eyeing your every move which makes you nervous.
They both schedule private appointments with you between the times of 1 am to 3 am, leaving you exhausted and sleepy in their own dorms.
As a token of appreciation (and their secret admiration for you) they pay you twice than what you expected.
However, you start noticing a pattern and notice their teeth always getting dirty (especially Floyd's). They just love you so much they need to see you take care of them more.
Her cleaning instincts are very sharp, it's something she can't help.
