so, it's a five times fic... idk if there would Be a +1??? the premise is five times cole almost died because of water like when he was a ghost because besties there is No Way there weren't accidents like. they were all chilling and then it started raining like. there's no way that didn't happen.
i finished the first part which is... very shortly after cole becomes a ghost and s5 ends but it's been long enough that cole has gotten more or less adjusted. so like. the team is out and chilling and it starts raining just a tiny bit and it's from zane's pov and he's like "hmmmmm i feel like this is Bad but idk why" and them it hits him when cole like whines in pain because a drop fell on him and he's like "cole move NOW" bit cole is so freaked out that he just Froze and can't move and the only reason he didn't died is because zane literally leapt and pushed him under an awning that was luckily nearby right before the down pour
then i started the second one and it's awful and i hate it but it's basically the team is fighting some guys and it starts raining so like. cole has to get under something but the people he's fighting (they all got split up) decide to act on this opportunity and like. try and push him out into the rain. and he's still new enough to being a ghost that his whole being something people can touch thing is all wacky so cole keeps flickering from being something people can touch and something that can't be touched. anyways, this one is from lloyd's pov and when it rains, he is like "uh oh gotta find cole" so he runs around and finally hears something weird and sees these guys trying to force cole out and they got his legs out so his legs are like... a weird configured goop and lloyd rages and gets cole to safety and they both panic a bit but he's fine
then the third one was form nya's pov and she and cole are alone and sparing and in a moment of panic because cole's about to win. she instinctively sprays him with water and it hits his hand before she realized and stopped (so it wasn't Bad but he didn't have a hand for a day or two) and nya feels really guilty and. y eah.
i had a section started for kai but i hate it and like little seventeen year old me may like it, but twenty-one year old me does Not so. but there'll be a part with kai and a part for jay iuhgfcfguiugfcdfg
this also relies on my headcanon that water to the heart or head or neck kills cole, but if it's not there, it's more like... idk he starts melting kind of??? and the more of him that's gets hit by water the closer he is to death. i mean, if he's fully submerged in water he's dead, but like. rain is drops and stuff ya know iuygfcguioiugfcghui so anyways, that's one of my very abandoned wips which is kind of sad because i liked the idea and just checked and i have 4k written but i hate most of it lol <3
