I’m pretty late to the graduation post game but I was waiting on other pictures but it’s okay. I’ve graduated college! I’d say it felt like forever but the time flew by much faster than I wanted it to. I loved Lees McRae so much and I could never thank my professors enough for everything they’ve taught me. It’s hard to believe that in two years I’ve graduated and at 19 years old. I started this journey in search of friends and the goal of working for a zoo or something similar, I came out with so many friends and a passion for wildlife to the extent of caring for them everyday (which I’ll be continuing to do for the summer thank goodness). Mammalogy practical today! This semester we went through a ton of the orders and families of mammals. Our lab days involved small mammal tracking and recording data, skinning deceased mammals in museum style for reference, and casting tracks of mammals. I did a Southern Flying Squirrel and Eastern Gray Squirrel for skinnings. For my tracks I got a Beaver and a Woodchuck!
