Keigo has never been a man for relationships, friends or otherwise. He always tended to keep to himself, even from other heroes. Whether it was from his childhood trauma or him being trained that way he can’t really remember.
But you have always caught his eye. If it was your kindness, strength, or your natural beauty he doesn’t know and at this point, he doesn’t care to know.
You’ve made him feel things he didn’t think were possible. He tried to keep you away, he tried to protect you. He didn’t want to get hurt, and he didn’t want to hurt you. But you never gave up. You always were the highlight of his day, his only happiness, and maybe, just maybe, his crush.
He’s never had romantic feelings before. So this thought alone scares him to death. But you’re so good to him, so good for him. You’ve helped him when he was at his lowest points. He can’t help but love you endlessly for being by his side when nobody else was.
One day he finally built up his confidence and decided to tell you exactly how it was.
He loved you.
The two of you were at a gala the Hero’s Commission set up. It’s wasn’t all that entertaining really. None of the galas ever were in his opinion.
But the gala wasn’t his focus, it was you.
You looked stunning to him. Your outfit fit you perfectly. Your hair was styled perfectly. Your eyes sparkled from the lights like diamonds.
You took his breath away.
Gently he tapped your shoulder, trying to gain your attention.
When you looked at him his heart almost stopped. The amount of love you gave in your looks made him feel so special. He hoped only he got that chance to see that look.
“Hey, can I tell you something?” he asked.
“Of course, you could tell me anything, Keigo. You have my full attention,” you replied with a smile.
His heart skipped a beat. It amazed him how sweet you were.
“How do I say this?” he asked, his nerves spiking. “Y/N, I love you.”
What you did next surprised him.
You kissed him. Your lips were so soft, just like he imagined they would be. They tasted like candy too. He melted into the kiss. Enjoying the way you softly kissed his lips and jaw.
“Keigo,” you smile. “I love you too. I always have.”
“Want to know something?” he asked.
“What?” you questioned.
“You were my first kiss,” he smiled. “And I’m glad it was you, and not anyone else.”
And he took his shot and kissed you again. And then again, and again, and again. Because he fell for you, hard. And after that one small kiss, he was never letting you go.
