Scenes from my 2004 solo show #SnoreLouderIfYouCan @the_substation featuring a work of mine entitled #SMOKINGISONLYPERMITTEDINTHEYELLOWBOX. It is of course a major reference to these painted boxes within military camps in #Singapore where these are the only places within the camps that you can smoke in. I was very lucky that #TheSubstationGallery was going to have a major renovation after my show so I could 100% totally trash it without having to clean up haha. Believe or not, back in 2004, you can still smoke in airconditioned spaces. Lots of people turned up to smoke in the gallery which made Mrs Chua so angry. The biggest fan of the show is #LeeWen who loved the fact that I was finally being somewhat political with my work. Goodbye, Substation. See you soon.
