The Man In The Black Shorts is an elusive subject of many urban memes in the Lefferts/Liberty Ave Area. While not much is known about him, his high-pitched, cartoony voice, ability to withstand frigid below-zero temperatures at will, and stalkerish tendencies lead us to suspect that the man is superhuman. This broken beauty survived the ages rather well. It memorializes a member of the #Lefferts family, died 1765. I just love old #cemeteries, but I have a special love for the carvings and motifs of these #puritan #graves from the #1700s
