shut the fuck up about how Trump is a 'sociopath' and a 'narcissist'. It all just feels like an excuse to be ableist rather than a simple observation. quit it with the armchair diagnosing of narcissism and antisociality. I'm tired of leftist spaces so flippantly throwing these words around as synonyms to 'abusive cunt' as if there aren't narcissists and antisocials/"sociopaths" in these spaces too, as if we aren't valuable and good enough for you people.

it's one thing to make an assumption based on Trump's behavior, but to act like THAT'S the reason he's a fucking scumbag, all while laughing at the very traits you pointed out as signs of a fucking PERSONALITY DISORDER, really shows your ass. this isn't just holding someone accountable; it's reducing a group of disorders to being an abuser.

people instantly stop being mental health allies when it comes to being fucking respectful to cluster Bs. y'all stop being the 'tolerant left' when someone has a 'scary' disorder, and yes this also includes psychotic and schizospec individuals. I know this post won't stop the ableist behavior among leftists, but I'm tired of it. Leftist spaces are just as unsafe to me as someone with NPD and ASPD as right-wing spaces are to me as a trans and queer individual of color. that's fucking horrific.

I'm not the first and I won't be the last to say this, but leftists need to do better. stop using 'narcissist', 'sociopath', and 'psychotic' as insults. I'm not going to coddle you and hold your hand for spitting in my damn face; pick up a dictionary, since you're clearly capable of reading pop psychology articles on 'narc abuse'. it's not that hard.

Something I see a lot in leftist spaces on twitter is people using the r slur to insult alt right people.

Look, I don't disagree that alt right people are awful, but can we not use ableist slurs to make that point?

Like, its a slur, no if ands or buts about it and one that should never be used.

Like Batman once said: This is a weapon of the enemy. We don't need it and will not use it.

And for anyone who tries to defend this by saying "what if they can reclaim it!?"

Its not reclaimation if you are still using it in an insulting manner.

I don't. They can rot for all I care. I just think calling anyone a slur regardless of what they did is gross because that shows me that you're only an ally if the people you're supporting are only good people and that the bad ones deserve to be called slurs.

To put it into perspective: its similar to how some people will misgender and deadname transpeople who have done bad things because they think that because they are bad, they deserve transphobia.

I absolutely despise Blaire White and Lily Orchard but I would never deadname or misgender them because they suck as people and hate when people do that, because my allyship isn't conditional.

Or when a plus sized person does something bad, its suddenly okay to make fatphobic remarks.

All I'm saying is that no one deserves to be called slurs just because they are bad people and slurs are bad no matter what.

I can’t find the OP this tweet was attached to, and it’s supposed to be a Funney Joke but like. This attitude is fucking ableist and bizarrely capitalist and I’m sick!!!! Of seeing it from leftists!!

The entire thread was essentially devaluing all labor that doesn’t fit into this weird post-rev hypermasculine anti-intellectual agricultural fantasy so many leftists seem to have. If you’re not farming, If you’re not grinding away performing the “serious” “real” work, or god forbid you’re disabled and Can’t Work at all....well your contribution to humanity is worthless. You’re worthless. Hmm now where have we heard that messaging before 🤔🤔🤔

And yeah fucking asthma and mental illness are disabilities and they can be severe and that means sometimes a person can’t be a “productive member of society” lmao I literally am one of those people. Communism is by definition supposed to provide for those of us who are unable do the difficult work.
