Neurodivergence: I have pieces of paper agreeing with me that I'm level 2 autistic and have ADHD, also known as 'I am professionally diagnosed', and I almost certainly have multiple cluster B traits but have no desire to receive a 'professional diagnosis' for any cluster B disorder, as I've already been mistreated by the mental 'profession' enough as is.

race: biracial, but I identify with my black heritage more.

Here, we believe that there's no such thing as an invalid queer identity, and this encompasses lesboys, m-spec lesbians, gaybians, and anything else that people hate for no reason. We are pro endo, believe that pronouns and presentation don't necessarily equal gender, are anti capitalism (especially rainbow capitalism), pro-choice, pro self diagnosis, are of the opinion that PMOS can be an intersex condition (but honestly it's up to the individual to identify as such), queer isn't a slur (though I don't immediately jump to demonizing those who think it is, because there are certainly people who've had that word used against them as such), xenogenders aren't transphobic, paraphile≠abuser, and more that I don't feel are necessary to state on this blog.

I do think it's an interesting case of how transandrophobia and exorsexism operate along similar lines that trans men are not allowed to have complicated relationships to lesbianism "because they're men/because they're not women" but non-binary people in relationships with women are regularly labeled as sapphic without their input (or in the case of fictional characters, without regard for other possible interpretations). Both of these instances are fundamentally the erasure of trans people's right to self-identify, both of them are done to police sapphic spaces for the benefit of others. The difference lies in the method, the trans man lesbian is forced out of their community, while the non-binary person is forced to have their identities be made more palatable for the benefit of a community they may not even feel they belong to.

what's sad to me is that a lot of the queer community doesn't bother to even acknowledge intersex people. you hardly - if ever - see the intersex flag at booths during pride events, and you'd be lucky to even see the intersex inclusive progress flag anywhere. and when you bring up the lack of inclusion, they will apologize and insist they'll remember next year, and when you go next year they've forgotten about intersex people again.

it just goes to show that, in a lot of cases, perisex queer people are perisex first and foremost, and too many of them don't bother doing the bare minimum to include intersex people, not just at pride events but in activism and other supposed safe spaces. some of them don't even know what our flag looks like to begin with.

at this point, I may just bring my own flag this year. I'll even keep some extras on hand to give to people if they ask. 'be the change you want to see in the world' and all that.
