THERE WAS LAUGHTER ON HER LIPS, something almost devious rather than humored. far from sinister but not the sort of noise one would be pleased to hear regarded towards them. it was followed by lips curling into COY smile, the blue depths of alina’s gaze firmly holding upon the other girl. she couldn’t help but feel the tension boiling down deep below the surface of her companion. an agony of terror, of torment, of blood and murder. whilst not seeking to c a u s e trouble, the demon still couldn’t resist a bit of draw to it. chaos was something of a past time for her; though she could tell the real show had been missed.
“...you’re on the run from something, aren’t you?” near whispered statement, the question more rhetorical than genuine. head canted enough to send blonde locks tickling across her features. “or is... run too strong a word? you’re trying to leave something behind...”
within the tired out convenience store along a stretch of highway, there wasn’t much else to observe than the strangers of interest. everyone on the road had a story, and the emptiness outside was no place a person would wish to be unless they h a d to pass through. evening was drawing in, the flickering of daylight fading. “pardon my cryptic greeting, i’m a bit of a wanderer. i’ve seen it before.”
