It's just business | Lilah & Harmony
Lilah tapped her nails against the bar counter idly, watching as her drink was mixed, Bombay Sapphire with slimline tonic and just a twist of lemon. Her hotel's bar was fairly empty, in exception to a few badly-dressed tourists and employees enjoying their break, nothing too surprising. She'd taken to staying in hotel rooms at the expense of the firm rather than finding an apartment to avoid detection, but the weekly routine of moving from suite to suite across the city had grown mundane in about a month since her return. Leading to her daily lunch break at the hotel's bar.
She trailed her fingers along the thin line of shiny pink flesh that made up her scar before tightening the purple scarf that shielded it from view. She'd been brought back, otherwise unscathed, but the Senior Partners had left the scar as a reminder of her mistakes. Bastards had a sense of humor after all.. She raised her glass to crimson lips, taking a sip with out hesitation and watching the mirror that lined the back shelf. A few patrons were lost in its reflection, but that'd no long surprised the undead attorney.
Her green gaze traveled back to her notes, sprawled across the paper in a distracted scrawl, on their newest potential ally. She knew very little of HYDRA, only that they'd been a pain in her ass from the beginning of her last visit LA. She turned her attention away from the thick envelopes to a familiar blonde near the end of the bar. "Harmony Kendall" she spoke the woman's name in something of a greeting as she moved her seat closer to the other woman.
