THE BOX!
After the whole fiasco of getting up too early and scaring his dad and causing the Mandalorian to spit blue milk all over the main room and the do everything table, Grogu was more than a little excited to finally be pulling the box out of his dad’s room. He’d waited so patiently and worked so hard to get his chores done, that he almost couldn’t believe that Din Djarin was going to let him start playing with whatever was in the box right then and there.
Actually. Not there. His dad was busy cleaning up the blue milk and Grogu didn’t want to make the mess worse by dragging the wagon through it. Instead, he maneuvered it all into his room. It was neat, organized, and clean for a change, so it was perfect for opening a box that could contain anything. Almost anything. There were clearly no living critters in that box and there never had been any.
Grogu took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He didn’t want to go too fast or too slow. He didn’t want to damage whatever was in the box and he didn’t want to discover, until it was too late, that the box was upside down or on its side or anything like that. That had happened before and it had made things less pleasant than they should have been.
LEGO set I finished on stream!
Well that was fun! And because I am super evil I am going to make Lego Harry sit on the top 😏
Money for your birthday means a justified purchase of one (1) good robit lego kit.
I spent a few hours last night and this morning building him and I absolutely love him. He's now chilling on my desk, making friends with all my other figures.
Also, little Ganymede is the most perfect.
I can't decide if this is cute or creepy and that makes me feel weird

Mending and amends…
The cabin was quiet. Mostly. Grogu was snoring softly. Din Djarin could hear frogs peeping in the grey light of dawn, but not much else. He had removed his armor, including his helmet, so he could take off his second layer and repair the gap in the back that Grogu’s hands had slid through. It didn’t take long to fix, but he didn’t want to put it back on.
Grogu had seen him, once or twice in his first layer when they were in the Razor Crest. The new one. The Mandalorian had worn his helmet, but there were times when it was much easier to do things in shorts and a shirt. Icing a banged up knee. Putting bacta on a burn from a blaster hit. Repairing their clothes. Actually relaxing.
Djarin made sure to do those things when Grogu was deep asleep. The few times he’d been caught that way, Grogu had simply been heading to the privy and didn’t seem to be paying attention to him at all. He’d just walk straight to the privy, eyes down, use it, come out wiping his hands on his pjs, eyes down, yawning, walk back into his room and close the door. He said nothing, didn’t indicate that he’d noticed Djarin standing there like a bantha facing a Krayt dragon, and went right back to sleep. The next day, Grogu never made mention of the event and for that the Mandalorian was grateful.

Over and Over Again
One of the problems with the homestead on Nevarro was that the Razor Crest had to be landed farther away from the small cabin than the N-1. There were trees in the way. There were bushes in the way. The terrain itself was too uneven. Grogu had objected to his dad landing on a small burrow for one of the indigenous critters that was in a prime landing spot. All of these things added up to pushing the ship about an extra klick away from the cabin.
That wasn’t bad really. It just meant that Grogu got a little more exercise when they took that ship, than when they used the N-1. As Ta’lan told him, exercise prepared you for unexpected events better than day dreaming did, most of the time. Grogu had definitely learned that was true. But, his normal exercise was just following his dad at a medium trot while carrying his backpack of supplies, toys, and equipment. That pack added about a kilo to his weight and acted as a strengthening tool as well. Neither of those features helped with the box from Zac.
