ask-sane-belarus I agree to an extent, but that’s only because I believe Jean’s upbringing as a Mama’s Boy made him very sympathetic and respectful to women. Because no son of Mama Kirschtein is gonna be anything near misogynistic. But that’s just me.

shingeki-no-unicorns Privilege definitely means a lot to Jean’s character. He didn’t have servants or fancy stuff, but he grew up in security and safety, which is a huge thing in the SNK world. He definitely learns through experience, we can give him that, right?

lem0ns I admit Jean may not be the most complex of all the SNK characters, but I agree on him being very relatable wholeheartedly. But on that whole stubborn thing, isn’t Jean able to admit he’s wrong? Or that a belief he has might not be right? Then again, that’s probably his honesty speaking.

Oh god I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who absolutely loves Grell because all my friends think they're trash :///

Sure the anime makes Grell out to be more of a joke then the beauty is but having had them as one of my muses before I simply will not shake my deeper understanding that I have formed of the character. Grell is not all they appear to be. Grell is one terrifying reaper but also one that is full of love. Also got to love a character that I cosplay as even if I do not always agree with their actions.
