The retrieval had gone off without incident, which boded well for her. The agents reported she cooperated fully, and didn't resist arrest.
Penelope had hoped to get a meeting with a superior to discuss the outcome of this meeting, but nothing had been placed as of yet, so she would only be gathering information. She'd take that to her superior, and then a decision would be made on just what was appropriate for Ms Lemon. Incarceration? The Box, or perhaps her skills would come in handy. That would be something to discuss after.
She walked down to interrogation. Yes she could have had another agent do the interview, but it was something she wanted to see first hand.
The door opened, and she nodded to the blonde woman cuffed to the table. Sitting across from her, she set her papers down, as well as her tablet, "Good afternoon. Before we start, can I get you anything to drink?"
[phonecall: unknown number] Is this... Agent Morgan? Like, Unnaturals head? Like, Stabby Hunter McSilverRing Morgan?
[call] I'm sorry ... may I please ask who this is?

I made Lemon as a character in a halloween rp that never got off the ground. Inspired by Supernatural because the shifters always fascinated me. In some episodes they were portrayed as monsters. And some, people who were just misunderstood and abused. The episode with the shifter baby proved that with care and a proper childhood, a shifter cool grow to be a good person and that’s what I wanted to show.
That she WAS good and she COULD BE good but people made her bad. People MADE her turn into what she was.
A monster.
I just have a lot of shifter feels, ok?
And also the mun is awesome. :3
Encountering a familiar evil...
Coulson paced quickly down the hallway, eyes flickering into every office he passed, gaze perceptive and sure as they searched for Erikson.
He felt the slight tremble under his skin, not enough to even make a finger twitch, but he felt it all the same. He felt the ache in the pit of his stomach, that sick feeling that would make others weak.
The toll on Erikson's mind had finally taken too much from him, far too much. He had turned against S.H.I.E.L.D. It was what Merc had always wanted. It was the seed he had planted in Erikson's mind. And now it had finally come to fruition.
Coulson's mind didn't want to wrap around what had obviously become of Sterling, how he had snapped, what he had done to Emma. He didn't want to think about it. But he had to.
Coulson halted sharply, mid-step, as he turned a corner, the familiar face of Erikson Sterling catching his gaze instantly. His hand met the weapon at his side, drawing it and leveling it on the agent.
"Erikson. I need you to raise your hands then step toward that wall and place your hands on it."
Relocation
Charlie wasn’t going to pretend that he and Sterling knew each other well, but he knew that when it came down to it Sterling was a good guy, but he also knew that sometimes good guys could be driven to do horrible things and as hard as it was, Charlie wasn’t going to judge him for it. He was just going to do his job and make sure that everyone stayed as safe as possible. Right now they were standing, quietly together, with Sterling in a holding cell, waiting to hear what they were going to do.
Eventually his radio went off, “Agent Kayson, due to the bomb threat we’re going to need to you move Agent Sterling to another location, somewhere secure, but away from people.”
“Got it, I’ll take him down to my office in the basement, when things are clear let me know and I’ll bring him back up.”
He turned to Sterling, “Alright, I have to move you, I’m going to take you down to the basement. I’m going to keep you cuffed, but I trust that you’re going to do this without too much trouble, right?”
"Sterling. I'm glad you c–"
“Murphy! I need a bomb squad down in medical YESTERDAY! We have twelve minutes! I repeat, twelve minutes, or this place is going to blow sky high!”
Click.
Fuck.
Medical. She was close to medical. One floor away where she'd set up shop, which was closer than the bomb squad, certainly. She clicked on her comm again, practically shouting as she ran. "I need a bomb squad to medical, STAT. We have twelve minutes. I'm en route as we speak–"
"Agent Murphy, are you sure–"
"Shut up, evacuate the rest of the building, and get the team, let me handle this!"
Her heart was pounding in her ears, hard and fast, and she was basically running on instinct at this point. Adrenaline was a hell of a drug, they said, and she was beginning to understand. It had kept her from sleeping and now it was moving her feet faster than she thought possible, practically shoving people out of the way as she moved down the stairs and through the building towards medical. The faces didn't even register. All that mattered was getting to that bomb.
And soon she found herself staring face to face with the case, the red timer staring back at her.
Ten minutes and twenty-seven seconds.
Pulling anti-static gloves out of her toolbelt (which was fortunately still around her waist), she delicately began to examine the machine. "Mutation, don't fail me now..." she muttered, taking a deep breath.
There was a nagging feeling in her stomach that these could be her last moments. Everyone's last moments, if she didn't do this right. Fuck, that wasn't... This wasn't her division. Maybe she should've left it up to the bomb experts... but she was here, and they weren't, and at this rate they weren't going to get there in time.
Clicking on her comm, she rang Sterling's phone (the cell phone), taking a deep breath and just talking before she even got an answer. It could've been his voicemail, hell, she wasn't sure.
"Sterling... I'm kind of facing down a bomb here and something really fucking weird is going on, but I don't think you did this. But, uh, just in case this is my last chance to say it... thanks. For the chance. And I believe you. If it comes to that... see you on the other side, Raindrop."
Taking a deep breath, she hung up, dialing her dad.
"Daddy? Yeah, it's me..." She wouldn't cry. She couldn't. It was like her brain had split into two parts: her hands were surprisingly steady as she worked, crossing wires and gingerly disassembling the bomb as best as she could. But her voice? Her voice shook. "No, daddy... it's okay. I promise. I just... everything's fine, I just wanted you to know I love you. So much. No, I swear, nothing's wrong..."
Except the whole disassembling a bomb. You know. That was new.
She hung up her phone, taking another deep breath.
Seven minutes and five seconds left.
