hahah, that little spot is on LSU’s campus.  they have a bunch of huge live oak trees, and a lot of them have low-hanging branches, or branches that rest on the ground!

I just looked up why live oaks are called live oaks for a comic I'm working on with Fal - apparently they don't lose their leaves because why stop at growing wood straight out of the ground only to drape back down to said ground

if we let them grow long enough maybe the branches will display sinusoidal geometry lmfao

Puck: you could make breadmonster

Puck: dough + meat/tomato sauce/vegetables (optional)

Puck: ok so the dough is just sugar flour salt olive oil (opt) and yeast and water so thats easy

Puck: i used a whole pound of ground beef and lllllllike... 2-3 cups of tomato sauce

Puck: so about a jar, maybe a little under haha

Puck: also chEESE LOTS of that

Puck: cheddar jack mozzarella whatever the hell you want, or all of the above and more haha

Puck: go bananas with spice/seasoning too

Puck: i recommend like at least a half cup of each, grated

Puck: as far as vegetables my go-tos are onion, celery, carrot, sometimes zucchini but not usually

Puck: eggplant could also fit very well in this

Puck: and mushroom

Puck: OH BELL PEPPERS you can put those in too if you like 'em

Puck: ANYWAY brown the meat and stirfry the vegetables

Puck: all together if you feel like or you can keep em separate

Puck: they're all going into the same horrible breadmonster cage

Puck: the dough's just like, standard style

Puck: 1.5 cups warm water

Puck: dissolve sugar and yeast (1 tbsp and 2 1/4 tsp respectively)

Puck: let sit til the yeast is all puffy and shit

Puck: add like a tsp and a half of salt, more or less

Puck: and a tbsp of olive oil if you want

Puck: then start adding flour in 1 cup at a time

Puck: 3 to 4 c in all

Puck: leaning toward 4

Puck: possibly more! just gotta get it so that it all comes together in a mass

Puck: anyway now that the dough's all starting to form and stuff you COULD do with the whole pounding and rising shit

Puck: knead the dough until it's all nice and not-that-sticky, and then you'll wanna coat the dough ball and let it rest in a lightly oiled bowl (the one you just used to make the dough will do fine really) and cover it with plastic wrap

Puck: let that sit for like an hour when it gets all puffy and shit

Puck: beat it down and roll it out to roughly the dimensions of a cookie sheet

Puck: (one you will be using in a bit ha ha haaa)

Lenalis: (makes note to buy cookie sheet also.)

Puck: this next bit is odd and confusing

Puck: basically make a rib cage out of the laid out dough

Puck: cutting the dough so that you make a bunch of like, 2+ inch long strips on each side

Puck: pretending that it's humanly possible to make a dough sheet this perfectly rectangular

Puck: when i did it it came out bizarre looking but thats ok

Puck: OH ALS O the cheese

Puck: you can either lay them out in layers, ie cheese layer on bottom, meat fillin in the middle, cheese layer on top under dough cage

Puck: or just pile all the cheese on the meat

Puck: either way you will still need to save a bit to sprinkle on top of the whole thing because reasons

Puck: i also recommend plenty of garlic, preferably still in clove form and minced, as opposed to garlic powder/salt

Puck: also lots of black pepper and paprika in the filling

Puck: basil and oregano are probably gonna be in the sauce

Puck: oh dang if you dont feel like sacrificing the mushrooms you can just get mushroom sauce or something

Lenalis: no I want mushrooms!!!

Puck: either way! go nuts with everything hahaha

Puck: bake for like uhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Puck: shit i think it was 30-45 minutes?

Puck: until either a) the cheese on top is crispy or b) the dough looks all thick and cooked

Lenalis: my oven is lame so I think with that range 40 would be the first time I'd check it before I left it in for an additional ten

Puck: mm

Puck: just bake it at like 350, that's my default temp

Cheese soup

Puck: ok this one has lots of bits lemme see

Puck: itll be in a medium/large saucepan (that is such a subjective word, just go with what you think will hold a few bowls' worth of stuff hahaha)

Puck: takes 2 carrots, 1/2 yellow onion and/or 1 green onion (scallion, what the hell ever), optional 2 celery sticks (including leafies at the top if you want), 1 potato

Puck: alllllll of that shit chopped up into relatively same-sized pieces

Puck: as well as either canned chicken (gasp), leftover chicken, or just a fresh chicken breast cut in chunks

Puck: barring the chicken youll want to warm up and sautee all of the vegetables and shit in the soon-to-be-soup pan in about 3 tbsp of butter

Puck: then youll put in 1/4 c of flour

Puck: (all of this at medium heat btw)

Puck: then slowly add 2 cups o' milk

Puck: as well as 1.5 c of water OR chicken stock

Puck: you can also add a bit of worcestershire sauce at this point if wanted, as well as a good bit of black pepper

Puck: if you went with leftover/canned chicken youll add this now, but if you go with fresh youll have to have cooked that somehow beforehand

Puck: either way in it goes

Puck: stir it all for a bit until the soup gets all thick and bubbly

Puck: then add cheese until it's all melted

Puck: whatever cheese you want, like at LEAST 1 whole cup's worth

Puck: serve hot and eat the siht out of it the end

Yeah basically same. I mean most of the time, I don't actually mind my period, but it'd be nice to just... not. Like just not go through all of it.

Honey Locks. Also this, I really like the layering idea with the Lock on Lockness. It would work especially well for non-Rift moving-through-Universe-fabric. Space-time slips off them in waves, like a weird combination of water and blankets, in as many layers as they're occupying at the time.

Layers of Locks shedding layers of universe I like it. Enough fractel-y things to keep me busy for a looong time.

I almost threw up with Wired’s visit too, when they were getting the pus and teeth out of his mouth..I had to sit down..I actually wasn’t allowed to view the procedures for his necropsy and I’m still steeling myself to make a post of his results :c

I was actually REALLY surprised I was allowed to view the necropsy. I thought they'd take her to the back or something. Once the vet confirmed she was gone he kinda just ... started cutting into her almost without warning. Like I'm sure there was warning, but I was still trying to calm down and probably wasn't paying attention (I felt like my ears were full, and I could hardly hear anything!? on top of the nausea. It was the weirdest dizzying feeling. Did not expect that or ever experience it before). I was just like omg.

The reviews were not kidding that this doc knows what he is talking about but he is no nonsense. Right to the point. I was surprised but had calmed myself down sufficiently by then. He went right into it describing what he was seeing.

Ugh poor Wired. ;n;; <3 It sounds so awful, the mouth description was just.. awful.
