1. First impression: Holy shit, she’s a brilliant editor and so awesome and intimidates the crap outta me so I’m just gonna stalk her from this dark corner and hope she never notices…2. Truth is: I seriously love your skills. You’re one of my biggest editing influences and inspirations. I watch most of your videos with my jaw hanging open and actually have attempted (but failed) to emulate your skills in some of my own work. :]3. Whoa, Avid looks awesome! It's one of the two programs left on my list of "things I need to try", right next to After Effects - what's it like? Do you like Avid?

Personally, I am neither here nor there with AVID. After Effects is BEAST and I LOVE that program. I am definitely all in favour of any of the Adobe suites for editing. Avid is not.. fun to learn. It's always wise to pretend you don't know anything about any other NLE software cause this one is different. Everything is specific. My biggest challenge has been learning to move the media around without unsyncing everything which has already happened about 7 times while editing this assembly. Lol. I guess I do like Avid now that I have gotten much more used to it but my program of choice will always be Premiere or Vegas. I also use Final Cut Pro and that one I do also like better than Avid. It just fits my style of cutting of better. When I think about Avid, I immediately feel a strange tingling irritation at how hard this program was to get used too. A lot of my time at school is like "How do I do THIS?!" - google. "How do I do that!?" - google. Lol. Something as simple as placing a marker, or selecting all the clips to the right or left can leave you scratching your head. Lol. I do recommend trying it out though. Us editors have to know all the things!

So I was wandering around the new Youtube layout and saw that they have a new piece to the insight page that lets you view your stats, etc., and it now includes a listing of your "top fans", which are the subbers you have that continuously keep coming back to your stuff. It also lists how long these people have been following you, and holy shit, some of them are from 2008. That was just super mind-blowing for me, and I'd just like to say a quick thank you to the people who have been watching my stuff for that long. Wow. Thanks so much!
