If anyone is absolutely bored as heck, does anyone want to help me find an appropriate talon length to body length ratio? Subject would be a dragon so maybe looking at raptors or large mammal/reptiles?
For one of my original worlds, I want the standard unit of measurement to be this one king's talon.
However, since it's a unit of measurement (esp for height) I kind of want to have an idea of how big this would be so when I depict heights and such it doesn't come out wildly disproportionate. But I'm not having much luck with getting a general idea of how big talons are in relation to the organism on average. If I can get a ratio, I can extrapolate to larger organisms like said dragon king.
