Going into this year’s Lent Challenges, I realized that I wanted all of us to focus on one thing: our well-being. The way I want us to exercise the improvement of our well-being is through an Ayurvedic healing tradition, the seven chakras. The seven chakras are seven energy wheels that balance us on every level: emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. For the past THREE years, I’ve incorporated this practice into my daily life in order to reach my best self; The change in my peace has been incredible. So, with that being said, my goal is for each of us to start our journey with the root (Chakra 1) and reach complete understanding and consciousness (Chakra 7). This will help you achieve a closer, healthier, and more stable relationship with God and yourself. Allow yourself to be sensitive to energy, to have an open mind, and to embrace your heart and soul.
