to say the least, it had been a long ass day at the hospital for leonardo. it seemed as though the whole hospital was running around with their heads cut off, constantly in a state of panic. it was just one of those day. he was late coming home again - it was almost eight in the evening, and he always felt guilty for promising his girlfriend that he’d be home earlier at six, or even seven, only to end up being caught up in something at the hospital and consequently late, as per usual. but she would understand right? after all, that is where they met. and that is where he spent many late nights with her, taking care of her and more. if anyone knew what his career entailed first-hand, it would be mia, his favourite patient of all time. parking his black bmw in their driveway, leo leaned back in his seat and sighed softly, just exhausted from the day but happy to be home finally. pulling his duffel bag over his shoulder, the lean brunette stepped out of his vehicle and into his home, where he could finally take off his scrubs, see mia, and relax. “babe? i’m home”, he called out, dropping his keys on the small hook by the door way and setting his bag down on the hallway bench.
