;; Autumn leaves falling from the trees of the district, slowly but surely marking the coming of winter -- everywhere around, only the bare stubs could be seen, vaguely decorated by a few odd leaves. It was a sorry sight to say the least. He wasn’t one to pay much attention to the changing of seasons, but if he had to pick one, he would much prefer either early autumn or springtime, the time where buds and blossoms yet again sprung out in a marvellous splendour of colours after their long hibernation.
;; Honestly Leo had to be chilly wearing only his thin suit with no overcoat; it was only a short distance to the café but the nobleman couldn’t help but wonder about such trivial matters. Somehow it was a nice change to the grave speculations that filled his life on a daily basis. Part of him was prepared to hand over his own inverness, but he didn’t really feel like facing his valet’s snide remarks over the gesture. He had already had enough of those for one day, even despite this being the first time seeing the other in two months.
;; Alas, it seemed Elliot’s concerns were unnecessary, for as the valet half-dragged him, half let him lead the both of them towards their destination, the conversation was on anything but the weather. They had too much to catch up with.
;; “... That sounds just like something that idiot, Break, would do. Ah, here we are.” Upon reaching the settlement, Elliot, entirely on instinct, waited for his valet to open the door for him. To anyone observing them, it should have been much more natural for the taller and stronger Elliot to partake in such menial tasks, but they knew not of the situation. This shop was mainly dedicated to female visitors who came in flocks, so the sight of two males entering was already a peculiar one. Had they not been valet and master it might even bear semblance to a date. But just as soon as the fleeting thought had crossed the nobleman’s mind, it vanished to not arise again.
