I’ve found myself looking back at Tim Sale’s art, remembering just how blown away I was by ‘The Long Halloween’ and ‘Dark Victory’. His work felt like a breath of fresh air compared to how homogenous industry standards of mainstream comic art. The heavy black, atmospheric, noir shadows; the simple colours and the exaggerated designs of the characters. Both of wich I decided to try and have fun with when doing this sketch.

Got an ink sketch done of The Penguin tonight. ‘Cos why not? It occurred to me that I haven't really drawn him. Or at least tried to put my own spin on him. So, I just went with the flow. Also, I was bored out of my mind because I was downstairs, hoping any Trick or Treaters would come, and the bloody winds were stopping my internet from working. As they usually do. Made worse since I needed to pay the rent today. But, Silver linings and all that. ^^

A very bloody late birthday present for my good friend @ecmcookiez.  Since I know how much you love dragons, I drew you a Cookie Dragon! (I call him Hobnob :3)

It’s sadly really late due to many external difficulties that’ve caused things to delay. Aswell as just how long the line-art and flats process took. I was hoping to make a speed paint video for it but ATM my computer is low on space, so I can’t make the video. So I decided to go ahead and finally upload it. Despite that, I hope you like it, Cookiez! ^^ Thank you for being so patient with me.
