What company generating over $1 billion in annual sales brings a keynote speaker (Leon Logothetis) talking about KINDNESS to their annual convention? Well perhaps you can accuse me of “drinking the kool-aid” however a company named “Gift of the Earth”, with responsible and sustainable sourcing, a mission to improve the lives of the whole family and families around the globe, bringing healing and hope to the world AND having science to back it up doTERRA, maybe I am way off base however it seems to me that they have developed a TRUE conscious company…

For those who have not heard of the “kindness guy”, “Leon Logothetis is a global adventurer, motivational speaker & philanthropist. It wasn’t always that way. He used to be a broker in the city of London where he felt uninspired and chronically depressed. He gave it all up for a life on the road. This radical life change was inspired by the inspirational movie The Motorcycle Diaries.

The days of living and working behind his ‘slab of wood’ (or desk to the layman) are well and truly over. His new passion: Finding ways for your inner rebel (that voice that tells you, you are worth so much more than you think) to come out and play.”

Logothetis talked about being bullied and broken as a child and without his teacher telling him EVERYDAY “I believe in you” he is certain he wouldn’t be here today.

He explained that kindness is FREE and how we ALL can give it. Logothetis continued that he realized that kindness is a choice and you get to choose how you treat each other. “Everyone in this room matters, how you show up in the world matters, we need to treat everyone including ourselves with kindness… When we SEE other people, you make them feel like they matter!”

He did an amazing exercise where he had all 18,000 of us sitting in the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City turn our backs on a woman who had volunteered to stand on stage… She described feeling worthless, small, invisible, she felt like she didn’t belong. He then instructed us to turn around and face them and everything changed /she explained she felt seen, important, belonging and loved…
