#44 - Second Film Review - The Wolf Of Wall Street

So the second film this week was:

I'm not going to spend to much time talk about this one. A typical Martin Scorsese Biopic, and it is EPIC.

Leonardo Di Caprio plays an excellent part as Jordan Belfort following the growth and growth of Stratton Oakmont from dealing in Penny Stocks to the Steve Madden IPO.

There is some controversy about the truths in this film. What I will say is that if they are even half true, this was one wild ride. You can however see how the memoirs on which the film is based could be from quite a vivid imagination.

There is also some controversy regarding the use of them term Cerebral Palsy Stage to describe a state reached by taking too much of an out of date drug. While this could be viewed as slightly disrespectful and I don't totally agree with it's use, the clip from the film below is hilarious:

Anyway, 2nd review, but a thoughly good film. One I would watch again at the drop of a hat.
