Hello, wanted to ask for a Headcanon of what you think Leonis and Gilzeas "deal" would be in normal/chiller Alternate Universe. Since in canon they're like apprentice that wants master dead.

Inspired by a fanart I saw, admittedly I do also wonder what the mechanics of the AU would be. To me it wouldn't be that they're all just reg humans now, but rather that the mechanics of what Dragons do are changed.

Anywho in the fanart I saw, Ragna, Crimson and Starlia were like traveling the world maybe looking for meaning or something. And Starlia was waving with a prosthetic arm at Ultimatia/Artemisia who was like in a Marilyn Monroe cosplay with a hat and waved back, think the implication is that she's big celebrity in the AU and the image also showed Woltenkamui, Olto and Nebulim helping her in a photoshoot.

So yeah that's sort of an example of the "normal" au I've seen of RC. If it'd help with the headcanon.

Well, one of Leo's defining character traits are that she seeks to become the strongest, which is partially the reason she became one of Gilzea's diciples.

So assuming that Gilzea is still the strongest and that Leonica still seeks to become the strongest, I think they would still be master and aprantice, but without the "I'm going to kill you once I'm strong enough" part. I also found some parts of their personalities rather similliar, which in this au could fuel a more healthy relationship between them.

I've already seen some wacky fanart of them from the OG story, like them going to McDonald's, and Gil bought happy meal for Leo, also they might had cause the building to catch on fire. Another was a pretty recent one where both Leonica and Sykes were dogs, and Gilzea was holding Leo, like she was showing her off to someone.

Also for some reason, I have this headcanon that Gilzea would in a way become a mother figure to Leo in the OG story, like "I found this puppy on the street, and now I had adopted them". This could also happen in this au as well.

With all the info we have of the two of them, this is what I can come up with.

My hopes for Leonica after her trainig with Gilzea is that, she's gonna either receive at least one of Gilzea's fangs or the claw she receives is going to be an oversized sword.

Let's see:

Person A lost people close to them, and now are being "punished" by person C, then seemingly miraculously out of nowhere person B appears and saves person A with the intent to recruiting them. Person A joins person B, and becomes very devoted to them, seeing person B as their savior.

The fact, that this describes both Leonicas and Ragnas first meeting, and Ultimatias ascenssion to dragon-monarch-hood, and only these two cases alone is crazy.

I've read a few Ragna Crimson posts on reddit by now, and I came across some that called Ragna a unforgivable *sshole for leaving Leonica behind, because he had no legitimate reason and his own reason wasn't really strong.

While I agree that leaving Leo behind was a bad decision on Ragnas part, in the "Winged Bloodline Arc" we're kind of shown what his word-view was back then. Ragna saw himself as cursed because everyone around him would die (mostly by dragons), that is why he teamed up with Crimson because Ragna wouldn't mind his death. But later when they're prepera to kill Disaster Thrower Crimson challenges this very word-view, and after his experiences with the Argentin Corp he abandoned his old philosophy, and after the first arc he now wants to reunite and fight side by side with Leo. So when he separated from her, in his point of view everyone around him dies and that time he was about to go up against the very bloodline responsible for Leo's death in the bad future.

So while I still think leaving Leo wasn't a good choice and Ragnas reason could've been explained better, I can understand why he did it.

Even though Leonica is currently not one of the strongest characters of Ragna Crimson, she still has some formidable feats:

-She was able to beat up three grown men all alone at the age of eight.

-She managed to become a renowned dragon hunter, without ever being taught (she doesn’t have any specific fighting style, just brute force). The Silver Corp even considered inviting her to join them (also she is more powerfull than most members).

-She managed to hold her own against Grymwelte (10th seat) in his human form, and although she was killed by him in the bad future, it was mostly because she pushed Ragna out of the way of the attack.

-She was able to block all of Chantioras (13th seat) attacks with brute force, and was able to overcome his dragon form in his awekened state (12th seat) pretty quickly as well.

-She was able to stay alive keep her sanity and memories when she was in Gilzeas presence.

-She is able to stay on the surface of the water just by stomping on it really fast.

Now imagine how powerfull she could have been if she was trained/teached by someone from the beginning.
