Recently I got the motivation to finish up chapter 6's summary of the Magia Record au, and started to write chapter 7's summary. Like I stated previously, this chapter is going to focus on what happened in Mitakihara, as well as giving a few explanations, (and possibly setting up future story lines).

Colors of the Abyss

This is just my understanding of what each color used by the Abyss could mean:

Deap-Dark Purple: This is pure abyssal energy.

Magenta/Pink: Sign of abyssal corruption, or abyssal energy mixing with elemental energy or light-realm-energy. Basically abyssal corruption.

Red/Crimson: Byproduct of the Abyss mixing with light-realm entities, like: Cannon or the Irminsul. Basically indirect-abyssal corruption.

Genshin Thought

Something that feels wierd to me, is that we were never told about people siding with Phanes in the War of Vengeance/Funerary Flames (the four shades are obvious, and Alynas is only implied). Like, did every single human and angel was either against them or was neutral in the conflict? If there were people fighting on Phanes' side, what happened to them, why hadn't they been mentioned yet (were they insignificant or someone trying to erase their memory)?

I know that these questions might be answered in the future, but it still feels wierd to me that seemingly none of the humans nor angels were on the Primordial One's side (again Alynas is only implied to be).

If characters from Ragna Crimson, got like a crossover(could be fusion or just like portal through settings) what do you think would be some fun ones or characters you'd like to engage and or bounce off their characteristics and talk with those from another setting/series?

For whatever reason I've been thinking about, Kamui, Starlia and Ultimatia these days. But you can talk about any you like

Alright, here I go:

Jujutsu Kaisen

Partly because both have blue-eyed white-haired powerful characters, and partly because I would like to see how the auric power system and the cure-energy power system would interact with eachother. Maybe if it were to be a fusion, then aura and cursed energy could be the same thing there. An interaction between Ragna and Gojo would be interesting, as well as one between Kenjaku and Crimson.

Demon Slayer

Former humans turned into man-eating monsters with special powers, that can only be slayed with this special metal or sunlight. Although I mostly interested in watching the face of demons, who're getting their behind handed to them by a seemingly normal child, who for some reason can lift an adult man with one arm.

Genshin Thoughts

Recently I was thinking about Koitar (The First Angel) being a parallel to Lucifer (the biblical one), and I started to think about who could The Second Angel (Alynas) being a parallel to.

As of right now for me the most obvious choice would be either Gabriel or Michael, with me leaning more torwards her being a parallel to Michael. Because Alynas seems to be more loyal to Phanes than the other angels, meaning that during the rebellion she most likely was fighting against the rebelling angels.

Currently the only depictions of Alynas we got are basically painting her in a negative light, but considering that those depictions might be biased because of Alynas turning on the other angles (from the perspective of the angels).

Something else that I find interesting that in the past, when the history of the angles was mentined, it talked about all angels being punished for rebelling, with Nicole's teaser telling us again that those who rebelled were punished. Unfortunately we don't know enough about Nicole's role in the rebellion to confirm wether only those who rebelled were punished or everyone. With the mention of Alynas, the possibility of there being angles still loyal to Phanes was shown, and I'm interested to see if it's true.

For some time I had been going on and checking posts on the r/ThePrimordialOne subreddit, and I saw a lot of hatred torwards Fontaine and its people.

Which is most likely because of the whole going up against fate thing, considering that some of the people on that subreddit, like any other subreddit dedicated to a certain faction in genshin, could become toxic anything that opposses the faction they support, and pretty much agenda driven.

Some of the points they bring up against Fontaine, is not something they tend to dive deeper into.

Like the racism against the melusines, which wasn't properly explained in game either, but I'm pretty sure that the racism stemed from the melusines coming from an abyssal dragon that could've destroyed fontaine if it wasn't killed, and even tho it was killed it still tained the waters of fontaine.

The oceanids wanting to become human, which is something we were never really given a reason why. An argument I saw brought up against wanting to become humans, is that they can just shapeshit into humans, which is true they can just take on a human form, but there's a difference between needing and not needing to be constantly near a pure water source. In my opinion critisizing that deisre should be put on a break until we find out the reason behind it.

Focalors' plan didn't managed to rebel against fate. This one is tricky because we don't know if Focalors was working against the modern version of the prophecy, which was told by Vedrfolnir or the original version, which we don't know much about. Also the only contex we see her oppose the Heavenly Principles is the prophecy, in which she was trying to save her people, not attacking the heavens, not meddling with the abyss, and not causing trouble for the other nations. Unlike with the Tsaritsa, Focalors was never stated to be actively rebelling against the heavens, at most she's doing what the other archons are doing and letting the Tsaritsa do her thing.

Neuvillette is another case. Among all the CONFIRMED sovereigns, he seems to be the only one that actually grown to love humanity (and that was before he found out that fontainians are true natives to Teyvat, and closer to being dragons, than the rest of humanity). Him coming to love humanity might actually be a step torwards peace between the two sides (dragons and humanity), which would probably benefit everyone. And when it comes to nailing the nation, I made a post about it here: LINK.

When it comes to the crimerate in the nation, I don't really have anything to say against those points, other that sometimes it seems like they only see the crimes commited by those who in some way in their eyes opposes their chosen faction. I do agree that the justice system needs to be upgraded now that the prophecy had been dealt with, and something needs to be done with the crimerate too.

I went back to writing the summary of the Magia Record AU fic, and while writing the beginning of chapter five, I learned that basically the entirity of the first section of the chapter was removed in the anime. Now season one is beginning to feel more and more rushed, as I continue writing the summary.

Another thing that I would like to mention, is that the fic is going to be mostly dialog based (imagine something similliar to the offline chapters in my Madoka Magica Chatfic), with facial expressions and someother movements and gestures during conversations being added. As for the action scenes I will try to do them normally (outside the chatfic format).

The Second Angel "Alynas"

We don't really know that much about them for sure, but it appears that they were an angle loyal to the Heavenly Principles.

My headcannon for them, is that they're a daddy's/mommy's girl.

PMMM Thought

Recently, I was thinking about the portrayal of Hitomi's relationship with Kyosuke in Rebellion, being a sort of paralell to Homura's relationship with Madoka. And recently, I just realised that it might have more behind it (or maybe I just see too much into it).

What I find interesting, that in a way, Hitomi is the oposite of Homura:

Homura starts out without friends, then she gets into a friendgroup, and finally deciding to widraw from them (having full knowledge of what's going on). On the other side, Hitomi had two bestfriends, who then started to grew away from her, ending with her losing both of them (not actually knowing what's going on).

Homura being kind of bad at communication, while Hitomi is pretty good at undestanding people.

Both were attacked by a witch as regular humans, with Homura learning about the world of magical girls, while Hitomi being non the wiser about it.

In the anime, Hitomi ends up with Kyosuke, while Homura is "forever" seperated from Madoka (well, at least until she's taken by Madoka).

Homura's theme color is purple, and while Hitomi doesn't really have one due to her not being a magical girl, it is obvious that she would be the green magical girl. These two colors are considered eachother's contrasts.

Again, I might just be seeing too much into it.

What do you think of Arlecchino? I've heard a fair amount of theories that she's not a human

I'm not that invested in her character, but I think she's from the human race, and not some other Teyvatian race. With this I'm not saying she's 100% a human, just that she's from the human race, and that she could be something else as of now.

One theory that I heard about what she could be, is one that I think would be very likely, especially if Hoyoverse wants to ignore the whole inbreeding ordeal. The theory itselfe says that Arlecchion, or Peruere, is a shadow like the Clervie from her story quest, but a far more developed one. If Hoyo decides to go with this, that could mean that Arlecchino is probably a copy of a girl named Peruere that had died at least five centuries ago.

New Wraith Designs?

These things in the trailer are either wraiths (who got a new design for the movie, or are modified in dome way), or maybe some wraith ripoffs by either Akumura or Kyubey, or someone else.

It also apears, that when killed these wraiths drop/leave behind these wierd ofuda-like things.

Note: In Japan, Ofuda is considered a talisman in Shinto and Buddhism, and Wraiths do seem to take a lot of inspiration from Buddhism.

Lastly, at this point they aren't even trying to hide the third (or first) new girl's connection with wraiths.

Update

PROJECT THAT MIGHT BE ABANDONED

Regarding the AU, the summary of the first 3 chapters are done, with chapter 4 being mostly done as well. Because season 1 is technically following the event of the first 6 chapters, so it is easier to incorporate elements from the game's story.

After season 1 it is going to be a bit different, because chapter seven will be a "Mitakihara" chapter, explaining what is going on with some of the Mitakiharan girls, as well as having its own small story (which could lead to another plotline in possible future continuation). This leads to chapter 8-10 to cover everything that happens after season 1, and the first episode of season 2.

Note: At the beggining I was a bit worried, because of how long chapter 7 is going to be compared to the others, and feel out of place, but as of right now it seems like I might had worried for nothing.

Genshin Thought

One thing that I had recently been thinking about, regarding the Primordial One, is that they might place their duty, even above themselves. What I mean by that, is that they would even ignore their own well being, if it's in the way of their duty. I basically have this headcannon, that the reason why they're currently sleeping is because they never bothered to step back and recover their injuries from the War of Vengeance, and they collapsed from exaustion. Another thing regarding this headcannon, is that the halo of angels are said to be their shackles, so I find it interesting that Phanes is represented with a crown called the Circlet of Logos, could mean that just like with the angels, the Heavenly Principles had also shackled themselves to their duty.

"Anecdota Septentrionalis"

The one who developed the method to turn people into pseudo-vishaps, was named Lucilius. The character is named after one of the earliest roman satirist, and the founder of Roman Satire. I thought, I bring this up, because FotDS's character might be influenced by this.

Something that I didn't brought up in the previous post, is that in chapter three, the island and the women living on it, that tried to trap the remurian sailers might had been a reference to Morgana and her shapeshifting abilities, and that she and her followers lived on a secluded island. Tho it is more likely to be a reference to the Secret Summer Paradise event.

"A Brief History of the Pale Starborn"

FotDS might have connections to Dalegrad: a clan of water imps (fae) that were lead by King Miscislav. The element that Morgan le Fay is assocciated with the most is water, and the people of Dalegrad were known for fighting in their frozen lake (a body of water), launching suprise attacks on their enemies.

She might be playable

Something that I was not expecting, is that this character could possibly become playable. I expected them to be at most a uniqe NPC. The Character in question is called Vodyanitsa, who is the lead singer of the Korolevskiy Troupe, and is theorised to be a siren (which is another type of fae in Genshin). Like it was previously mentioned Morgan (who the FotDS is most likely based on) was also known for using her voice to charm/seduce people, like how a siren would do it. I'm not saying that Vodyanitsa IS the FotDS, just that she might be.
