idk if dragon parts have any lingering willpower clinging to them after the dragon themselves have died, but
I love that they burned a dragon heart to get a prophecy to kill that dragon's beloved son, and ended up getting a prophecy that followed the letter of the request (technically, Merulo's intended outcome does not come to pass) but not the spirit of it (Merulo gets a hot boyfriend and has a chance to live happily ever after)
