The Harry Potter ask post; Courses, house and wand?

I don’t even think I reblogged it, but I’ll play along xD

Courses: What would your class schedule look like if you attended Hogwarts?

Let’s assume this means third year and up. Other than the standard courses, I’d probably take arithmancy (I like math) and creatures (divination seems impossible to really teach, muggle studies is bullshit, and ancient runes isn’t really my thing - knowing something about magical creatures seems more useful).

House: What house are you?

Ravenclaw.

Wand: Describe to me what you think your wand would look like.

No clue.

Bilbo: When did taking a chance improve your life?

I haven’t done all that much epic chance-taking, I think. I’ll go with signing up for Game Development Camp. It got me a bunch of awesome friends, taught me a lot of social skills, and for a teenager who’s used to hearing “when you grow up”, it was good to learn that I can do cool things (like make my own video games) now.

Thorin: What have you lost that you wish to regain?

Huh. I don’t know. I can’t think of anything.

Balin: Are you older or younger than most of your friends?

Younger. That happens when you go to uni right after high school and then go on to make friends with people who have been there for years.

Dwalin: Do you have any hobbies?

I play pen and paper every week, and I have recently started climbing. I also enjoy photography.

Fili: Do you have a good smile?

I like to think that I do.

Kili: Have you ever suddenly been considered attractive where before you were just sort of there?

Don’t think so.

Dori: Are you a musician?

I used to play the guitar. I sing in the shower. Last year, I sang on a stage in front of 300 people.

Nori: Is it common for you to notice things others have forgotten or missed?

I notice errors in code and sometimes clues in books and movies. Other than that, I don’t think my observational skills are that good.

No, I didn’t notice, I was reading.

Ori: Do you write or speak multiple languages fluently?

Danish and English.

Óin: Would you consider yourself a superstitious person?

No.

Glóin: Are you skilled at something most would consider unusual or esoteric nowadays?

Like old-fashioned stuff? Nah. I mean, I’m capable of writing with a quill and ink, but that isn’t hard to learn.

Bifur: What is your most interesting injury, and how did it happen?

Uh. I don’t really do major injuries. Like, I’ve never broken a limb.

I do have a half-moon shaped scar on my arm which I got from touching a just-out-of-the-oven baking tray while trying to make enough pizza to feed 30 people.

Bofur: Do you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist?

Optimist.

Bombur: What is your relationship with food?

I eat it. I also sometimes enjoy cooking.

Currently I eat mostly vegetarian food, but I am not an actual vegetarian, and will not say no to a well-made steak.
