SPEAKING of retrogrades . . I know we weren’t but WE ARE NOW! My guides had me build a crystal grid for this crazy cycle we’re in now with like 6 planets in retrograde. I wish I knew more about astrology. I keep trying to get into it but it’s too Mathy for my brain or something. I’m one of the most sensitive people I know to all the planet alignments and whatnot but for the life of me can’t seem to retain any of the information about it.

 This grid has Brucite as its center stone. This is a stone about goal setting and decision making. Are the ventures you’re involved in of value to you and in your best interest? (Supporting this Mars retrograde) It can also help you to see if you are in the right place and possibly bring members of a soul group together (linking up to Saturn’s retrograde that may bring up issue of karma and contracts).

 Surrounding Brucite is peach Morganite. The placement of this stone so close to the center stone is about wrapping all that goal setting and decision making in a blanket of Divine Love. With so many planets in retrograde at once, now is the time to move more purposefully with great regard to consequences, and with much attention to HOW we do things, not only WHAT we’re doing. Morganite here is forming a link that joins Brucite (through their Manganese content) with the Hemimorphite and Fenster Elestials closest to it. It shares with Hemimorphite the ability to boost the heart and high heart chakras and it shares with Hemimorphite and Fenster the quality of enhancing psychic gifts and contacting spirit guidance.

 Hemimorphite works its magic by increasing the amount of light in your auric field, thus increasing joy, healing, clairvoyance, and connection with spirit guides. It’s going to be helping us with Mercury and Pluto in retrograde.

 Fenster quartz in this grid is helping us heal dysfunctional patterns and outgrown emotions – probably working with Jupiter and Pluto retrograde and in early August, Uranus retrograde as well by helping us change our inner landscapes in order to affect change in our world.

 In the outer ring are the last three stones – Nuummite (the black one), Leopardskin Jasper (on the outer rim), and Polychrome Jasper.

 Nuummite is one of FIVE stones in this grid that carries help for us about our spiritual journey/discoveries. It is going to help out with Neptune, Mercury, and Saturn in retrograde by moving your spiritual growth forward quickly, facilitating inner journeys, and helping to shine a light on hidden things – releasing any past life negativity that is found.

 Nuummite is hemmed in by the Leopardskin Jasper and Polychrome Jasper which add elements of joy, kindness, and compassion. Jaspers are slower moving energies, concerned with affecting change slowly so that it is lasting, and generally considered to be “supreme nurturers.” This retrograde season might be tough for facing decisions, doing self-evaluation, reconsidering strategies you’ve been employing. This grid is bolstering us so that we can make all that work count and help produce a better Us and a better World as a result.
