Rose Lalonde drawing (Homestuck kids #1)

Over the past week, I did a series of drawings of the Homestuck beta and alpha kids and now I'm posting them to Tumblr. The first one I did was Rose because at work I just felt an urge to draw her on the computer with her cat Jaspers on her lap. Then I decided drawing the cat on the desk would be easier.

Rose is a character who just keeps growing on me the more times I read Homestuck. She's sharp, snarky, intent on knowing everything she possibly can, yet deep down she's really sweet. Also she loves cats which is a plus in my book. I felt the art needed a little splash of color which is why I made Rose's skirt and shoes purple.
