**  Tuxedo Styles  **

Look numero deux for NYE dinner was a little tuxedo dress, which I have been searching for, forever by the way, to no avail of my liking, to even contemplating DIY'ing one. 

In my searches however, I found one by Monica Rose for Lovers and Friends LA ! Obsessed. I wore it with my fav Zara strappy's !

We dined at the restaurant in our Hotel - XO LE RESTAURANT - the prix fix was absolutely delicious!

A little under the weather I became over the course of the day and therefore Les Best conventelty made her way up to her hotel room and lights out at 12:20 AM!

**  Reminder's of Montreal  **

This cold Toronto weather is bringing me back to my trip a month ago to Montreal. 

Hotel St. James situated in Old Montreal is our spot and destination always. The way they have remembered our likes and dislikes from 5 years ago is absolutely incredible. From the minute details of emptying the minibar so that I can add my own snacks and treats, to removing the gift basket and ensure we have The Weekend FT on Saturdays. They are superb. 

Fun Story: Usually when I order room service, my order of choice is the chicken club with fries and extra hot sauce on the side. For the longest while they would send like 7 little quarter sized bottles of Tobasco. The last trip, they had a full giant sized bottle waiting for me with a note as we checked in our room, which made me cry laughing and the entire staff at one point or another asked what we thought of it! The love for their guests and passion for their craft is absolutely beautiful.

**  Worlds Apart  **

The holidays regardless of anything religion based is the time to cherish your most important relationships and to reflect on the joy each one of those moments either physically, virtually or by a phone call. I am glad to say that I tried very hard this year, not just around the holidays, but in general to grow my most meaningful relationships (it's the Pisces in me, I can't say no!).

Sometimes families and friends aren't in the closes of physical proximity, take for example my French-Tanzianian love who lives in Toronto and his family, who are based in Paris, Tanzania, Montreal and New York. And his good friend from Cameroon who also lives in Toronto, who's family is in Cameroon and London. This year we decided to celebrate the family moments together, Family, Easter, Thanksgiving and our final Christmas Dinner.

I wore Zara heels, H&M scuba skirt and a Zara over-sized sweater (enough space for all the food!). 

My Les Best Meal consisted of the following yummies:Scallops to start.

Salmon & seabass roast (Atlantic salmon, Chilean seabass, scallops, queen crab, salsa shrimp, fresh parsley, red peppers, green onions wrapped in a banana leaf) baked.

Mushroom with shaved truffles.

Sweet potato purée with truffle oil.

Cranberry sauce.

Grilled Asparagus & Prosciutto with a lovely dip.

Baked Brussel Sprouts with Sausages.

.... and finally 

A Buche de Noel - a classic French Christmas cake, which is light in nature to freshen the palette - I got ours at Nadege. Sorry about the low quality on the food pics, I literally snapped them super quick with my phone so we could eat!
