That big V day D day is around the corner.

You know that thing that the proverbial 'they' say, when you look good you feel good. So I'd say, screw what your status is, relationship, REALationship, friendship, complicated, grey areas or solo-dolo, dress in what makes you feel your best because that will exude over anything else.

For my little date, I wore a Dolce & Gabbana bustier dress and my favourite Nine West classic heels.

I love me a real good jumper, a onesie, a full bodysuit - whatever you like to refer to it as, but I love it for day and night. Think about it's simplicity, it is a full outfit that you really don't have to think about - just add a few accessories and you're done!

This jumpsuit by Thee Floor Fashion is especially one of my favourites. I have styled it with runners in the past and different strappy heels, but I opted for closed toe stiletto's for Montreals lovely winter weather.

Dinner was indulgent at Bocata, the sister restaurant of one of my favourite Montreal resto's Barocco. Both incredible #LaVieLesBest choices if you are ever in Old Montreal! The sommelier was so helpful and passionate, which is a characteristic I love in a person in any field of work they are in.

Look numero deux for NYE dinner was a little tuxedo dress, which I have been searching for, forever by the way, to no avail of my liking, to even contemplating DIY'ing one. 

In my searches however, I found one by Monica Rose for Lovers and Friends LA ! Obsessed. I wore it with my fav Zara strappy's !

We dined at the restaurant in our Hotel - XO LE RESTAURANT - the prix fix was absolutely delicious!

A little under the weather I became over the course of the day and therefore Les Best conventelty made her way up to her hotel room and lights out at 12:20 AM!

**  Reminder's of Montreal  **

This cold Toronto weather is bringing me back to my trip a month ago to Montreal. 

Hotel St. James situated in Old Montreal is our spot and destination always. The way they have remembered our likes and dislikes from 5 years ago is absolutely incredible. From the minute details of emptying the minibar so that I can add my own snacks and treats, to removing the gift basket and ensure we have The Weekend FT on Saturdays. They are superb. 

Fun Story: Usually when I order room service, my order of choice is the chicken club with fries and extra hot sauce on the side. For the longest while they would send like 7 little quarter sized bottles of Tobasco. The last trip, they had a full giant sized bottle waiting for me with a note as we checked in our room, which made me cry laughing and the entire staff at one point or another asked what we thought of it! The love for their guests and passion for their craft is absolutely beautiful.

**  J'adore DIOR  **

As of late, as in as of Raf (Simons), I CAN'T stop, but be obsessed with all accessories by Dior. Raf and his team have really changed the voice and vision of a once jewellery and accessory line which donned the classic 'Dior' spelled micro necklaces, charmed bracelets and earrings which were quite juvenile and expected.

Example's of the newest new new and my favs include:

The Dior So Real Sunglasses, which are very futuristic yet classical.

The Mise en Dior earrings, which have garnered a lot of copy cat / look-a-like's in the jewellery world.

The Dior Set earrings, which I am wearing, that can be worn as one earring combined, or two separate pieces. 

The Miss Dior ring - the ring is quite delicate and nautical.

Legit J'adore Dior!

YUP. That's the inspo.

Sport Chic continues with us @ Les Best. I mean all it really is, is a pair of dungarees / overalls (cuffed, the key is cuffing them), a sequined shirt and a pair of your favourite sneakers (please ensure to hide remanence of your socks).

Dungarees: So old I can't remember the brand (sorry!!) - but I know that I did buy them online by googling "leather overalls" and figuring out which website was better / would ship to Canada without costing me an arm and a leg.

Today (not always), but the essentials. Usually it's a cluttered hot mess.

1.) Vaseline c/o my London, England family, we don't have this goodness in Canada yet. Super hydrating and perfect.

2.) Blistex Silk & Shine. I can't wear lipstick until I apply this as a base first. My all time fav.

3.) Tom Ford Lipstick in Spanish Pink. Literally the best nude colour for my skin tone.

4.) Cardholder with the essentials; debit, credit, ID, bus pass a couple of dollars and Les Best business cards (you never know when you'll need them!).

Wearing my new favourite Adidas Stan Smith runners. So perfect all season long.
